#Day27 COUNT AND COUNTA FUNCTIONS COUNT In data analysis and manipulation, the Count and CountA functions are important. Count function counts all the cells in a range that contains numbers or dates. In summary, this function calculates numerical values only. This functions does not count blank cells, texts and errors in a given range. For today's task, I created a table with three (3) columns and counted the number of cells with numbers in under the Name Column. I used the Count Function and the result is shown below. #excelprocommunity #30daysexcelchallenge #DataAnalyst

Quick Tip for Today! 💡 Understanding the COUNT function in DAX is essential for accurate data analysis. In the given example: - COUNT[id] = 7 - COUNT[Name] = 7 - COUNT[Phone Number] = Blank - COUNT[Course] = 6 - COUNT[Logical] = ERROR - COUNT[fees] = 6 The COUNT function counts cells with numbers, dates, or strings in a column, skipping blanks. Note: TRUE/FALSE values are not supported; use COUNTA instead. When mixing TRUE/FALSE with categorical and numerical data, it still counts accurately.
