The Sick
The Sick
The Sick
The Allopathic physicians deal only with the ultimates, they observer only results of the
disease, and either deny or have no knowledge of the real nature of the sick man .
They characterize the changes in the tissues as the disease and all there is of the disease, its
beginnings and the end and it has nothing prior to it.
They accept nothing but what can be felt by the fingers and seen with the eyes or
otherwise observed through the senses, aided by improved instruments
They notes down the pathological results of the disease
They have material idea of the disease
If they have material idea regarding the disease they will have material idea regarding the
means of cure.
If the pt. Is suffering from haemorrhoids the removal of hemorrhoids by surgery would be
considered as cure. Disappearance of skin eruption by local applications would be
considered as cure etc.
Homoeopathic concept of sick
Dr Hahnemann
Disease is the primarily dynamicaly derangement of our spirit like vital principle
in sensation and functions ,which reflects outwardly trough the various organs
of the body as the perceptible signs and symptoms, the totality of which
constitutes the disease.
As per the Homoeopathic philosophy disease is not seperated from the living
whole and from its animating vital force, though it is of so subtle in character.
The man is sick as a whole not only his part or organ.
So the Whole man to be restored to the health not only his part or organ.
Homoeopathic concept of sick
Dr Kent
The real sick man is prior to the sick body. The real sick man is the disordered interior economy i.e. The
disordered will and understanding conjoined
It is the man that is sick and to be restored to health, not his body, not the Organon, not the tissue
The tissues or organs could not become sick unless something prior to them had been deranged and so make
them sick
The tissue changes or organic changes or pathological changes are the result or ultimates or the end products of
the sickness
It is the sole duty of the physician to heal the sick. It is not his sole duty to heal the results of sickness, but the
sickness iitself
Man should be treated from cause to effects and not from the effects to the cause. If treated from cause to
effects, remains cured permanently .if mere effects are removed, then cause is there and it will manifest from
other weak parts or organs
When the man himself has been restored to the health, there will be restored harmony in the tissues and in the
activities
So the sole duty of the physician is to put in order the interior of the economy i.e. The will and understanding
conjoined.
