A wonderful big step: and please don't forget about the value of shading to also help protect against over-exposure to UV radiation from the sun (95% of skin cancers are caused by overexposure to UV). There are a range of free resources on how to plan for and design good quality natural and built shade at the Cancer Institute NSW site: https://www.cancer.nsw.gov.au/prevention-and-screening/preventing-cancer/preventing-skin-cancer/shade-and-uv-protection And you may like to watch the movie currently in cinemas 'Conquering Skin Cancer' which covers these issues: https://conqueringcancercampaign.com/conquering-skin-cancer/
