A day in the city today working on group coaching for potential leaders all looking to further their careers. There’s something electric about being in the city! Big topic topic of today was confidence! “If I ask this question people will think I’m stupid”. When the coachee said this everyone nodded. We’ve all felt that way. The stories we tell ourselves can be so damaging. Tips! ✅ Spot your triggers ✅ Search for the truth. ✅ Practice something new every day.

Warning ⚠️ risk of significant positive impact in reading this post! An idea has been forming in my mind, and in the last couple of weeks, I’ve reached out privately to a number of truly wonderful people. To my delight, they are ‘in like flynn!’ 😁 On the evening of Wed 29th May, we will be coming together to begin a powerful, connecting, and empowering journey of growth into the best of who we are. We’ll be following the highly engineered Certified High Performance Coaching process, which I’ve taken thousands of people through over the years with predictable results for those that are open and engaged in the opportunity. One of the things I’ve noticed in delivering this amount of coaching is that the right group of people amplifies the process with a special energy, in and of it’s own. It’s difficult to pin down, but I’d liken it most closely to what I think is alchemy, or even magic. This post is energy, sent out from me to you, if you’re someone who this post is destined for. It’s likely we already know each other, or of each other, and it’s possible that we don’t, yet. Even if it’s you, there may be a feeling of nervousness or doubt - I urge you to trust your intuition, for the good and benefit of us all. Clarity follows action. If it’s you, send me a message, or call, and if it’s not, pass it on, it’s time. #personaldevelopment #positiveenergy #serendipity #connection

Unlocking Your Purpose: Is Your Life Compass Calibrated? Living a life true to yourself, fueled by purpose - Isn't that what we all crave? During the last two years, I have been training as an individual and team coach, and one question that has popped up in my mind is: How can I help my coachees be aware of how close they are to their purpose? How can I show them what is empowering and limiting them? Today, Albert Alabau, Maria José Parera Vilamala, and I are happy to share an experiment, the Life Compass assessment, building on the leadership circle profile academic research. This 4-minute assessment reveals how aligned you are with your purpose and empowers you to break free from your limiting beliefs and fears. By answering it… 🎯 You will know how aligned you are with your purpose ✍ You will help us test and improve the academic validity of the survey, which I will greatly appreciate! :) The survey link is: https://rb.gy/8xcrt3. You will receive a detailed report with your score shortly after (we need some time to process the data). Thanks a lot for your support! Have a great weekend! #purpose #coaching #personaldevelopment #leadershipdevelopment

Coaching is all about aligning actions with values and goals. This may sound simple but in practice, it’s quite challenging. If I were to ask random people on the street to list their top three to five values without pausing to think, how many could do it? Yet, knowing these values is crucial because they simplify decision-making and life choices. Goal setting is even tougher. Most clients can express what they no longer want but struggle to articulate what they wish to achieve instead. Furthermore, they face the dilemma of 'choosing is losing'—what must be sacrificed to attain their goals? This dilemma which a client shared with me recently reminds me of a scene from Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. When Alice came to a fork in the road, she asked the Cheshire Cat which way she should go. The cat asked, 'That depends a good deal on where you want to get to.' When Alice responded that she didn’t much care where, the cat cleverly noted, 'Then it doesn’t much matter which way you go.' This illustrates that without a clear destination, any path will do. The ancient Greeks recognized the value of self-knowledge too. Inscribed on the Temple of Apollo at Delphi were the words: 'Know yourself.' If you understand what is important to you (your values) and where you wish to go (your goals), that self-awareness will inevitably guide your decisions. I'm curious - what are your values? #LeadershipDevelopment #LeadershipCoaching #CommunicateWithImpact

If you say Yes, life will be full of pain and struggle. If you say No, life will be full of comfort and indulgence. But.... Both outcomes are short-lived..... When you are forced or asked to explore the unknown parts of your life, you have two choices: 🖌First: Say No and stay in your comfort zone. You’ll live a default life with short-term pleasures, but you won’t realize that there’s no real “life” in the long run. 🖊Second: Say Yes and go through all the pain, struggle, and discomfort. You’ll be stepping out of your comfort zone. If you persevere and keep putting in your efforts, life will be full of learnings, success, and joy. The choice is yours: 🔥 Short-term pleasure and long-term pain or 🎂 short-term pain and long-term joy Found this useful? Share it for the benefit of your network. ♻ P.S. How do you make choices in life? Share your thoughts in the comments. Coaching is Serving. One of the main goals of powerful coaching is teaching, advising, and supporting our clients to become responsive rather than reactive. Why is this important? Well, because most of the problems we face in the day, the problems you and I come to coaching to solve, are self-created. We believe that the issue with our spouse, boss, or child is a circumstance we must tolerate or fix—a circumstance outside of ourselves—a situation that has “happened” to us. But the truth is that practically 100% of the time, we create the problem by reacting, rather than responding, to the situation. The opposite of reacting is not accepting, surrendering, or tolerating. The opposite of reacting is responding. The difference between the two can be a deep breath and a relationship saved. It can be a few conscious seconds and a regret averted. Reactive Vs. Responsive—Who Do You Want to Be?
