You are feeling stuck. You are struggling to cope up with burnout. Your life has become a machine. These are common symptoms we all experience at some point, especially professionals like you and me. One reason you can't move smoothly through this challenge is that: ☀You don't ask yourself questions. ☀You don’t like to ask questions. ☀You don’t know how to ask the right questions. ☀And the key point is you don’t have someone who can ask you simple yet powerful questions. Questions are powerful when asked with the right intention. Partnering with a professional coach can change everything. Just imagine having someone to ask you the right questions and help you tackle life’s challenges. Does it sound promising? Found this useful? Share it for the benefit of your network. ♻ P.S. People love their jobs, salaries, and positions, but there is something people love most, more than anything else. Unfortunately, most of them don't realize this. What people love most is themselves. Curious to know how? 🤔 Here is a story about Akbar and Birbal. Akbar once asked his wisest minister, Birbal, "Whom do we love the most?" Birbal replied, "Oh King, it is ourselves." Akbar, not convinced, said, "I don't agree. A mother loves her child the most." Birbal smiled and said, "I am sorry, my king, but we love ourselves the most." With slight frustration, Akbar said, "Prove it." Then Birbal asked for a mother monkey and her baby to be brought and put in a big glass tank. He then asked the helpers to slowly pour water into the tank. As the water level rose, the mother monkey held her baby tightly. But as the water continued to rise, she eventually placed the baby on her head to keep it above the water. When the water rose further, she even stood on her baby to save herself from drowning. Birbal turned to Akbar and said, "See, my king, even a mother who loves her child dearly will prioritize her own life in a life-and-death situation. This shows that deep down, we love ourselves the most." Something similar happens in corporate life.... Just as the mother monkey ultimately stood on her baby to save herself, people in corporate settings might throw their colleagues under the bus to save their own careers. When the water rises—in the form of financial downturns, corporate restructuring, or scandals—those who seemed protective and nurturing can reveal a self-preserving nature. Positions and job security are not as solid as they seem, and in turbulent times, the instinct to save oneself takes over, leading to actions that can harm others. I know, there are always exceptions to this scenario be in real life or Corporate 😊 Some of the key points, I could get … 👉 True faces reveal during testing time 👉 Empathy turns in to sympathy 👉 Humility and Leaderships remains on paper 👉 Selflessness becomes Selfishness And so on… Found this story valuable? Do you sometime get in to dilemma about choosing comfort and knowledge? Does it feel like weird connection between these two? At first site, 'Yes' but in reality answer is 'No'.... 🤔 सुखार्थी त्यजते विद्यां विद्यार्थी त्यजते सुखम्। सुखार्थिन: कुतो विद्या कुतो विद्यार्थिन: सुखम्॥ If you aspire for comforts, leave the knowledge. If you aspire for knowledge, leave the comforts. Aspirant for comforts cannot get knowledge and aspirant for knowledge cannot get comforts. This Subhashitam gives profound insights for our personal and professional journeys when it comes to choosing between comfort and knowledge. And this is a Choice Every person Must Make⁉ My Key Takeaways from this Age old wisdom 🌺 Commitment: True knowledge requires sacrifice and dedication, often at the expense of comfort. 🌺Focus: Choose your priorities wisely—seeking comfort might limit your growth. 🌺Growth Mindset: Embrace discomfort as a necessary part of the learning process. 🌺Long-term Vision: Knowledge can lead to greater fulfillment and success in the long run, despite short-term sacrifices. What is your approach when it comes to managing real life situation? Have you ever thought about your behaviour in particular situation that decides your leadership style? Curious to know how? 🤔 Here is the great analogy I came across, how being like 'Water' can transform your leadership approach. As water changes its shape according to the environment, it sometimes adjusts, changes the direction, absorbs, gets mixed with, overpowers and so on... On the other hand, a chameleon changes its colour to blend in (Fake leadership approach  to know more on leadership traits refer my earlier post https://lnkd.in/g_bE3RXe?) As a leader, you should be ready to embrace challenges, change, and adversity. Exhibit situational leadership and don't change your colours to run away, avoid, or find quick-fix solutions. Key Takeaways from this simple but thought provoking analogy: 👉Adaptability: Adjust to situations like water, finding strength in flexibility. 👉Resilience: Face challenges head-on rather than avoiding them. 👉Integrity: Stay true to your core values instead of blending in like a chameleon. 👉Problem-Solving: Embrace change and find long-term solutions rather than quick fixes. Found this analogy useful? Share it with your network ♻ P.S. How do you handle challenges and change in your leadership role? Share your thoughts in the comments! Coaching is Serving. Do you believe that its not always about winning? It’s about your intention, Curious? 🤔 Let me share my todays experience.. I pray to God that I should get 4th Rank," my daughter said to my wife while they were discussing about forthcoming Bhagwat Geeta reciting competition. Hearing her, my wife got surprised and called me over. "Listen to what your daughter is saying." With equal surprise, I asked my daughter, "What a strange request to God! Why do you want to get 4th Rank?" Baba, for the 4th Rank, the prize is a bottle, and I recently lost my bottle. I didn't understand whether to laugh or scold her. After absorbing the shock, I asked, "Why not aim for 1st or 2nd Rank, at least the 3rd?" She looked at me and said, "The prize for 1st Rank is a big bicycle, 2nd Rank is a small bicycle, and 3rd Rank is a set of books. I don’t need any of those right now. I need a bottle, so I’m praying to God for 4th Rank." Still, I insisted on aiming for 1st or 2nd Rank. She calmly replied, "Next time, whenever I need a bicycle, I'll try and pray to get 1st Rank. Don't worry too much." Ohh God, I was dumbstruck by her explanation. This was another lesson from my daughter. What I learnt today… 🎯 Priorities: Focus on what you truly need at the moment. 🎯 Clear goals: Sometimes, aiming for the top isn't necessary if your needs are different. 🎯 Flexibility: Adapt your goals based on your current requirements. 🎯 Pragmatic approach: It’s okay to have practical, immediate goals over grand ones. 🎯 Comparison : Its about me and not about others, no comparison with others. 🎯 Minimalistic: To have anything as per your needs 🎯 Happiness: Finding Joy in small Wins. Found this story insightful? Share it for the benefit of your network ♻ P.S. Have you ever learned a surprising lesson from a child? Share your stories in the comments!     Coaching is Serving. Did you ever have a moment where something unexpectedly went right? Or you believe that nothing goes right for you You are not alone who thinks like this but …….. Life always has plans to make many things go right even when you don’t expect them to go right, still thinking ? 🤔 Just sharing a story and some surprising life lessons. "Father, whatever you do, this clock is not going to work," my younger daughter said as I was replacing the batteries in our wall clock. I was checking if it was just the batteries or something else. My elder daughter, who was watching us, said, "It's 7:10, it's showing the correct time," without realizing that the second hand wasn't moving. For moment, I indeed felt that watch is working, I forgot that watch was actually not working What a little surprize it was for me! This got me thinking about life's little surprises. Imagine you are living in a skyscraper. After a tiring day at work, you return home, always tensed about waiting for the lift. To your surprise, you find the lift waiting for you. Or, you're running late to the office, and you can't wait for a few seconds longer, yet you find the lift already on your floor. Life gives us so many such small but pleasant surprises, but either we don’t realise it or ignore it. My Key Learnings from this little surprise 🍁 Unexpected wins: Sometimes, things work out when you least expect it. 🍁 Patience pays off: Even faulty things can be right occasionally. 🍁 Optimism in adversity: Not everything is always unlucky. 🍁 Small joys matter: Celebrate the little wins in everyday life. "Even a faulty watch shows the correct time twice a day." Found this story insightful? Share it for the benefit of your network ♻ P.S.
