I'm about to get real with you 😪 This weekend, I had a wake-up call about asking for help. I used to think it made you look weak, needy...even repulsive! I was convinced it was the fastest way to ruin your reputation and kill your business. I was wrong! A candid conversation with a family member flipped my perspective. Here's the truth I needed to hear and you probably do too: Asking for help isn't weakness, it's your secret weapon! As a founder, you're building 24/7, wearing all the hats and pushing your limits. But here's the reality: No one builds an empire alone. The most successful founders? They're masters at asking for help by leveraging other people's brains, time, resources, contacts etc. Stop trying to be (or look like) a superhero. Start being strategic: 👀 Identify your blind spots and areas of weakness 🔍 Find people in and outside your network who fill those gaps 🗣 Ask for their input - boldly and unapologetically! When it comes to supporting founders, I often find there's a disconnect between intent and action. Founders thrive when they're *actually* supported by an ecosystem of partners, mentors, and fellow entrepreneurs. Here are some ways you can engage with founders in a more meaningful way:   1️⃣ Mentor them - your insights and expertise can help founders navigate through common challenges and pitfalls. 2️⃣ Invest in them - even small investments can help a founder reach key milestones (e.g. market expansion, hiring). 3️⃣ Amplify them - whether it's a job posting or a product launch, sharing those beats amongst/across your network provides tangible value such as new opps and more visibility. 

You don’t need to be a founder to learn like one. In my years of working closely with founders on LinkedIn, I’ve stolen some lessons. (Not guilty) They’re not about building million-dollar companies, but about mindset. I’ve seen it first-hand: – I’ve watched founders handle failures like they’re a normal part of the process. They don’t give up. – Plans change—constantly. The ones who succeed are those who adapt quickly. – The best founders I know prioritise relationships. – It’s not just about their product but also the team and the customers behind it.
