October 10th is World Mental Health Day, so this is your reminder that mental health is just as important as physical health, and it’s time we make it a priority in the workplace. We work to live, not the other way around. Unfortunately, stigma and a lack of understanding still prevent many from addressing mental health issues at work. A safe, supportive work environment can protect mental health, but unhealthy conditions—like discrimination, harassment, or poor working conditions—can seriously harm it. This impacts not only mental well-being but also quality of life and productivity. Taking care of mental health at work is a shared responsibility between employers and employees. Let’s break the stigma and promote healthier workplaces for everyone. #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalhealthatWork

🌍 World Mental Health Day 2024 🌍 Today is World Mental Health Day, and the theme for this year is “Mental Health in the Workplace.” This focus emphasizes that workplaces have a unique responsibility—and opportunity—to support mental well-being. Given how much time we spend at work, creating a mentally healthy environment is essential not only for individual employees but also for the organization’s overall health and success. Yet, for too long, mental health issues have carried a stigma that prevents people from speaking up or seeking help. The result? Silent struggles that impact not just individuals, but entire teams and organizations. Let’s use this day as a reminder to foster open conversations, create supportive policies, and make resources accessible to everyone in the workplace. Together, we can build environments where mental health is not just recognized but celebrated as a universal right for all. #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealth #UniversalHumanRight #WorkplaceWellness #MentalHealthAtWork

Today is World Mental Health Day, a World Health Organization initiative which this year is focused on highlighting the vital connection between mental health and work. Safe, healthy working environments can act as a protective factor for mental health. Unhealthy working environments including stigma, discrimination, and exposure to risks like harassment and other poor working conditions, can pose significant risks. Which in turn, affects mental health, overall quality of life and work participation or productivity. Let's all be better at contributing to a safe and healthy working environment. 🩷 #WorldMentalHealthDay #mentalhealthatwork
