When we think about mindfulness, formal meditation often comes to mind. While meditation is formative in building a strong mindfulness practice, it is not the only way to practice. Some informal practices can include things like: practicing patience and breathing while waiting in a long line, noticing the sensation of your scalp while washing your hair, and giving yourself permission to let go of multitasking, and focus on one thing at a time. We can apply mindfulness and meditation to all aspect of our lives, especially when experiencing the tough emotions that come with grief. Give yourself a bit of loving kindness today as you move through the day. #MindfulMonday #Mindfulness #Meditation #GriefandLoss Source: Stang, Heather. Self-acceptance is the key to inner peace and true happiness. It’s about recognizing your worth and embracing all parts of yourself, flaws and strengths alike. When you accept yourself, you open the door to personal growth and genuine connections. #SelfAcceptance #PersonalGrowth

Embracing dialectical thinking can be a powerful tool for mental health. It helps us navigate the complexities of life by recognizing that two seemingly opposing ideas can coexist. For example, it's okay to feel both happy and sad at the same time. This approach fosters compassion for ourselves and others, allowing space for growth and understanding. Let's celebrate the nuances of our emotions and find balance in our experiences. #WellnessWednesday
