Gratitude: A Daily Practice with Extraordinary Impact 🧡🦃🍁 On this Thanksgiving Eve, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone in our network—clients, partners, colleagues, and friends. Your trust, collaboration, and support have made this year one of growth and progress, and we are truly thankful for each of you. 🙏 At Ironworks, we believe gratitude is more than just a seasonal sentiment—it’s a daily practice that shapes how we approach both challenges and opportunities. For Heidi Hoium, this practice takes the form of writing down three things she’s grateful for every morning while planning her day. ✍️🌞 This simple ritual helps shift focus to what’s already working and wonderful, creating a mindset that approaches obstacles with clarity and positivity. Does it always work perfectly? No. But doing it consistently fosters resilience and a grounded perspective over time. 💡💪 Today, as we reflect on the many things we’re grateful for, we invite you to join us in this practice. How are you cultivating gratitude in your life and work? Gratitude is a powerful force—not just for the holiday season, but for every day. It can transform your mindset, your leadership, and your relationships! Let’s finish this year strong, leading with gratitude in everything we do. Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Ironworks! 🦃🍁

🍂 Gratitude in Action 🙌 Thanksgiving always brings an opportunity to pause and reflect—but what if we took it a step further? Gary Burnison’s recent message from Korn Ferry reminded me that gratitude is only half the story. Pairing it with thoughtful action is where the real impact lies. Being "thankful" means appreciating the people and moments that shape us. Being "thoughtful" means reaching out, acknowledging their impact, and finding ways to reciprocate. This year, I’ve been fortunate to work alongside incredible colleagues, clients, and friends who’ve shaped my journey. As I reflect on those relationships, I’m reminded: How often do we take the time to say "thank you" in a way that truly resonates? This season, I’m challenging myself not just to feel gratitude but to show it—whether that’s a handwritten note, a call to reconnect, or a simple “thank you” shared with intention. 💡 What’s one thoughtful action you can take to show your gratitude? Let’s make this season about more than reflection—let’s make it about meaningful connection. #GratitudeInAction #LeadershipWithHeart #ThoughtfulConnections #ThanksgivingReflections

Gratitude Changes Everything Every day, we’re given a choice: to focus on what we lack or to embrace what we already have. Gratitude is the bridge that shifts our focus from scarcity to abundance, from stress to peace, and from “not enough” to “more than enough.” When you take a moment to notice the good—whether it’s a supportive colleague, an encouraging word, or simply the chance to start fresh—you set the stage for even more blessings to unfold. I’ve found that gratitude isn’t just a feeling; it’s a practice. It’s in how we show up for others, how we celebrate the small wins, and how we carry that sense of thankfulness into everything we do. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I’m pausing to reflect on the people, experiences, and lessons that have shaped my journey. I’m especially grateful for my incredible Change Management team and the amazing teams I’ve had the privilege to work with over the years. To the mentors and leaders who’ve guided, encouraged, and pushed me to strive for excellence—thank you. To my husband, family, and friends who love and support me through life’s ups and downs—I am forever grateful. I’m also deeply thankful for my executive career coach Stacy Mayer, who inspires me and reminds me that I am equipped to do anything I set my mind to. Her guidance has been instrumental in helping me grow into the leader I aspire to be. And to those who I don’t talk to as often anymore but still take the time to check in—you make my heart smile. Those unexpected messages or calls brighten my day more than you know and remind me of the beauty of lasting connections. So here’s my invitation to you: take a moment today to count your blessings. Share your thanks with someone who’s made a difference in your life. When you lead with gratitude, you create a ripple effect that changes not just your world, but the world around you. What’s one thing you’re grateful for today? Let’s celebrate the power of gratitude together. #Gratitude #Leadership #Abundance #Thankful

The Attitude of Gratitude As we pause for Thanksgiving, I’ve been reflecting on the transformative power of gratitude. In our fast-paced, achievement-driven world, it’s easy to focus on what’s next rather than what we already have. But gratitude has a unique way of shifting our mindset. It’s not just about acknowledging success; it’s about appreciating the people, challenges, and even setbacks that shape our growth. The relationships we nurture, the lessons we learn, and the opportunities we create—these are the true currencies of life. Gratitude is the foundation of H2H (human-to-human) connection. It reminds us that, together, 1+1 doesn’t just equal 2. It equals 11. As we gather with loved ones or reflect in solitude, let’s take a moment to appreciate the journey and the people who’ve been part of it. Gratitude isn’t just a feeling; it’s a practice that leads to exponential outcomes. Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate—and to everyone, a reminder that gratitude is universal. #Gratitude #Thanksgiving #1PlusEquals11 #MNMPhilosophy #H2HConnections #ExponentialGrowth #Leadership #Inspiration #MindsetMatters #GratitudeJourney

As we head into the holiday this week, gratitude naturally comes to mind—a time to reflect on the people, moments, and blessings that bring joy to our lives. But gratitude can also take a deeper, more transformative shape when we consider not only the highlights but the challenges we've faced. This year, on top of asking yourself who or what wonderful thing in life you’re grateful for, try asking: what struggle are you grateful for? It’s easy to appreciate the joyful and straightforward parts of life, but struggles often carry hidden gifts—opportunities for growth, resilience, and self-discovery. Reflect on a difficult moment or period that stretched you beyond what you thought you could handle. Maybe it was a career challenge that forced you to sharpen your skills, a personal loss that deepened your empathy, or a time of uncertainty that taught you to trust yourself or others. When we embrace gratitude for our struggles, we shift our perspective from seeing challenges as purely negative to understanding them as critical chapters in our story. Please note that our Center will be closed Wednesday through Friday. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. #PositiveLeadership #Leadership #Grateful #CPL

This Thanksgiving, can you turn your attitude into gratitude? A past Thanksgiving many years ago, I found myself in an unusual spot—not at a big family table, but in a restaurant having dinner with my family, reflecting. A year of growth and challenges had just passed, and I was overwhelmed. My business was growing, my clients were thriving, but my inner critic wouldn't quiet down. The Faceless Judge whispered, "You're not doing enough." Then I remembered the power of gratitude. I tried something different. I grabbed a notebook, sat by the window, and wrote three things I was genuinely grateful for—my health, the trust my clients placed in me, and the little moments, like the long walks in the woods that kept me grounded. What happened next was unexpected but so appreciated. A wave of calm washed over me. That small act shifted my perspective. I stopped focusing on what I lacked and started seeing the abundance around me. It wasn't a perfect day, but it was meaningful—and it sparked a habit I practice to this day. Gratitude isn't new; it's ancient wisdom woven into every culture and belief system. It's the reminder that even in the toughest moments, there's always something worth celebrating. Gratitude makes everything you have enough. So, this Thanksgiving, I challenge you: What little victories will you pause to honor? How will you flip your attitude into gratitude? Let's create a ripple effect of positivity, together. Make it a memorable day! ❤️ this post? 👍 Ring the 🔔 to follow, share it with your network, and drop a comment 💬 below. 🌟 Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃🍂 Today, as we gather around tables and in the warmth of our loved ones’ company, let’s pause to embrace the power of gratitude and purpose. Gratitude reminds us of the beauty in what we already have, grounding us in humility and joy. Purpose pushes us forward, giving us the strength to keep striving, growing, and leading. 📝 Here are three ways to cultivate gratitude and purpose this season: 1️⃣ Reflect on Your Wins: Big or small, acknowledge the strides you’ve made this year. Each step forward is a testament to your resilience. 2️⃣ Celebrate the People Around You: From colleagues to family, the relationships in our lives fuel our journeys. Let them know how much they matter. 3️⃣ Revisit Your ‘Why’: In the hustle of leadership and life, remember why you started. Purpose gives our work meaning and makes our efforts worthwhile. 🧡 Wishing you and yours a Thanksgiving filled with love, laughter, and reflection. 👉🏽What’s one thing you’re especially grateful for this year? Gratitude – Hmm, time to rethink it... With Thanksgiving just behind us, we’ve all seen the usual flood of gratitude posts. But I can’t shake the feeling that we’ve been treating gratitude the wrong way. Gratitude isn’t just about being thankful for what we’ve received - it’s about what we’re still capable of creating. Too often, we stop at appreciating the support we’ve gotten or the successes we’ve achieved. But real gratitude isn’t passive. It’s about recognizing the gaps - the things we haven’t done, the people we still need to support, and the contributions we have yet to make. Instead of simply reflecting on what we’ve been given, we can use our gratitude to drive us forward. What are we still capable of creating? Gratitude isn’t about contentment; it’s about growth, giving, and moving forward. It’s not about what we have. It’s about who we are together and what we can still create for the future. Just some thoughts. Have an amazing weekend! #leadership #personaldevelopment #gratitude

A THANKSGIVING DAY MESSAGE Today, as we celebrate Thanksgiving, I’m reminded of something important: None of us achieves anything worthwhile completely alone. Every success, every lesson, every moment of growth is shaped by the people we choose to surround ourselves with. This day is about gratitude, but let me challenge you to think about it a little differently. Instead of just saying “thank you,” take a moment to truly reflect on the roles others have played in your life - their impact, their influence, their sacrifices. To my family, thank you for being my foundation and for always supporting me even when things didn’t weren’t always going well. You remind me why I work hard and why life is about so much more than just goals or achievements. To my friends, thank you for your honesty, your support, and your ability to pull me back down to earth when needed. You prove that the right relationships are a mirror, showing us who we are and who we could be. To my team and colleagues, thank you for your dedication, for challenging the way I think, and for sharing this journey of growth. Leadership isn’t about being the smartest in the room - it’s about surrounding yourself with people who inspire you to be better. You do that for me every day. And to every person and organization I’ve worked with, coached, partnered with, or crossed paths with, thank you for trusting me, for sharing your stories, and for letting me guide in whatever small way I could. You’ve taught me that leadership isn’t just about driving results - it’s about guiding people toward what they’re truly capable of. So today, let’s be intentional about our gratitude. Let’s not just feel thankful - let’s express it. Write the note, make the call, have the conversation. Let the people in your life know what they mean to you, and how they’ve shaped your story. Because at the end of the day, leadership, life, and legacy come down to one thing: relationships. As we approach Thanksgiving, I find myself reflecting on the incredible power of gratitude. Over the years as a leader, I've come to realize that appreciating the people around us is not just about acknowledgment—it's about creating a workplace where everyone feels seen, valued, and celebrated for their unique contributions. In my book, I emphasize that leaders who take time to genuinely appreciate their teams foster loyalty and energy that propel an organization forward. Thanksgiving reminds me to slow down and appreciate not just the big wins but the smaller victories that often go unnoticed. Whether it’s through a simple “thank you” or a handwritten note, I’ve learned that expressing appreciation brings us all closer and builds a positive culture where people thrive. This year, as you gather with loved ones, I encourage you to reflect on the people in your life who help make your journey possible. Take a moment to share your gratitude with them; it might just be the most valuable gift you give. As we celebrate this season of thanks, let’s commit to bringing gratitude into our daily lives, not just for one day a year. To my family, my colleagues, and everyone who has supported me this year—thank you. #gratitude #appreciation
