To anyone in my #socialhousing network - this is definitely a worthwhile piece to be thinking about. Data is the core of how we work and we make informed decisions based on reports and numbers. If we're all doing things differently it becomes difficult to collaborate and make real progressive change. If you have a spare few mins, I'd massively encourage those to complete this survey
What are your thoughts on data standards in social housing? Do you think they’re essential, or are they simply an unnecessary complexity? How could implementing data standards improve internal and external operations? We want to hear your views! In partnership with the UK Government’s Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, HACT, and Open Data Exchange (ODX), we’re conducting the UK’s most comprehensive survey on social housing providers' views of data standards. Our Data Standards in Housing 2025 survey and subsequent report will explore: - Housing providers' current understanding of data standards. - The pros and cons of internal, external, and shared data standards. - Practical use-cases for data standards within housing operations. - Tools and resources to support the adoption of data standards. - IT and business drivers, along with barriers, to adopting data standards. - Data management, application integration, and the role of data standards. We’d like to invite social housing providers to share their views by completing our brief online survey. Survey Link: https://lnkd.in/eqX7KZks As a thank you, you’ll receive an advance copy of our Data Standards in Housing 2025 report in January 2025. Let’s drive the conversation forward and shape the future of data standards in housing. #DataStandards #SocialHousing #HousingTechnology #DataManagement #DigitalTransformation

I am delighted to promote and support another report on data challenges in social housing. This one is written by Dr Simon Williams of Service Insights Ltd and a friend of Golden Marzipan. Dr Williams suggests five recommendations covering silos, data quality, culture, and systems. The fifth and most important one is “Consider a sector-wide data strategy”. The full report can be found at https://lnkd.in/eYB5_eRv There are considerable overlaps with our thinking on the National Database for Social Housing Properties. So, who is going to lead us on this quest from the Holy Grail? #data #digital #socialhousing #governance

🌟 🏠 🏢 Social Housing peeps: Join Sarah Wilson and I on Thursday (12th December) at 11am for our final webinar of the year: "How to Improve TSMs and Tenant Satisfaction". 🏢 🏠 🌟 🔍 In another *guaranteed banger*, together we'll learn: • Lessons from the first year of published TSM data (league table, anyone?) • EXACTLY HOW the leading social landlords are automating the understanding of resident feedback in real time • The power of combining this insight with quantitative data and reporting it to your Housing Association in Power BI, including a look at some housing data in BI dashboards 🙋♀️ 🙋♂️ Who should come? • CX managers, Insights professionals and anyone dealing with complaints management, TSM/transactional surveys in the housing sector • Anyone who *still* has to waste hours of their lives manually coding resident verbatim or reading a sample and going on gut • Anyone with an opinionated CEO/leadership team who lacks the evidence to tell them what they're proposing isn't actually based on data 😇 Saz will be hosting the session with me, which I'm already terrified about. Registration link in the comments and please feel free to ask any questions/tell us what you'd like us to cover. Do come, it'll be a giggle. :) #TenantSatisfaction #CX #HousingSector #CustomerFeedback

🚀 Unlocking the Potential of Dark Data in Social Housing 🚀 We’re thrilled to share insights from our CEO, Colin Sales, featured in the 100th edition of Housing Technology! 🏠✨ UK social housing is “data rich but insight poor.” The Social Housing Ombudsman calls for better data management, the sector’s “silver bullet.” Amidst the data deluge lies a hidden treasure: dark data. This unstructured, untagged, and untapped information makes up 80% of an organisation’s data, with nearly 40% holding significant value once analysed. Managing dark data effectively can reduce storage costs by up to 60% 📊 For more insights, check out the full article on page 49 of the latest Housing Technology edition or drop us a message on LinkedIn ✅ #HousingTechnology #SocialHousing #DataManagement #DarkData #3CConsultants

Housemark presented at Housing 24 on their recent Tenant Satisfaction survey. For the 5th consecutive year satisfaction is down, from over 80% at the start, to now 69%. There is a real need for the sector to address this, using the information they hold on customers to enhance the services they offer them. As the Ombudsman has said ‘Better use of data is the closest thing the sector has to a silver bullit’. The attached provides details as to how 3C might be able to help. #data #socialhousing #governance

The future of data in real estate is all about using data to improve business performance. Here are a few ways that data can be used: - Predictive analysis can be used to identify trends and make informed decisions. For example, data can be used to predict which properties are likely to sell quickly and for a high price. - Data integration can be used to centralize data and improve efficiency. This can save businesses time and money. - KPIs can be used to track progress and identify areas for improvement. KPIs can help businesses to stay on track and achieve their goals. - Regular reports can be used to track performance and make informed decisions. Reports can help businesses to identify trends and make adjustments as needed. I encourage you to check out the full blog post for more details on how data can be used to transform the real estate industry: https://lnkd.in/gMJYyGE7 #futureofdata #realestate #businessperformance #predictiveanalysis #dataintegration #KPIs #reports #ReapitElevate24 Reapit Australia & New Zealand
