The #SocialHousing 🏡Sector still has so much work to do to ensure it has the #DataStandards📅 in place to allow providers to fully exploit the automated systems🖥️ they rely upon. However this requires huge amounts of time⌛ and analysis🧐 (and that's before implementation even begins)! Given Providers are more or less doing the same thing rather than re-inventing the wheel 🛞each time, sector-wide #DataStandards sounds like a huge #opportunity🎊 to save vast amounts of #time🕑, #effort🥵 and #money💰 as well as open up a huge opportunity for #interoperability👨👩👧👦. #DataStandards #SocialHousing #BuildingInformationManagement #BIM #ISO19650

To anyone in my #socialhousing network - this is definitely a worthwhile piece to be thinking about. Data is the core of how we work and we make informed decisions based on reports and numbers. If we're all doing things differently it becomes difficult to collaborate and make real progressive change. If you have a spare few mins, I'd massively encourage those to complete this survey

Excellent and insightful article by Julia Mixter (Chartered FCIPD). The concept of making appropriate social housing data open and available is central to so many current social and political initiative and answers the calls from the government, NHF, Ombudsman and Regulator.
