To anyone in my #socialhousing network - this is definitely a worthwhile piece to be thinking about. Data is the core of how we work and we make informed decisions based on reports and numbers. If we're all doing things differently it becomes difficult to collaborate and make real progressive change. If you have a spare few mins, I'd massively encourage those to complete this survey

What are your thoughts on data standards in social housing? Do you think they’re essential, or are they simply an unnecessary complexity? How could implementing data standards improve internal and external operations? We want to hear your views! In partnership with the UK Government’s Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, HACT, and Open Data Exchange (ODX), we’re conducting the UK’s most comprehensive survey on social housing providers' views of data standards. Our Data Standards in Housing 2025 survey and subsequent report will explore: - Housing providers' current understanding of data standards. - The pros and cons of internal, external, and shared data standards. - Practical use-cases for data standards within housing operations. - Tools and resources to support the adoption of data standards. - IT and business drivers, along with barriers, to adopting data standards. - Data management, application integration, and the role of data standards. We’d like to invite social housing providers to share their views by completing our brief online survey. Survey Link: https://lnkd.in/eqX7KZks As a thank you, you’ll receive an advance copy of our Data Standards in Housing 2025 report in January 2025. Let’s drive the conversation forward and shape the future of data standards in housing. #DataStandards #SocialHousing #HousingTechnology #DataManagement #DigitalTransformation

Heh. I created a presentation on this very topic in a previous role, but it never got shown.  Unfortunately, I no longer have access to it, so I don't have the detailed information that I gathered to support detailed views.
