Our most recent masterclass with Daisy Corfield, was nothing short of transformative. Community members came in feeling “overwhelmed” and “okay” about their next steps, but after the Mentoring Matters session, they reported feeling “confident”, “energised”, and “motivated”. These sessions have truly been impactful in reinvigorating our community's interest in using a mentor. Prior to the masterclass, 60% of attendees felt uncertain about using a mentor. Afterward, that number flipped, with 75% feeling confident in the value and importance of mentorship! 🙌 Mentorship is essential for career growth and development, and it’s amazing to see people embracing it. We have one of the best bosses in Britain—officially! The other week, the Pollen team pulled off our biggest surprise yet, and it was all for our founder, Sophie O'Brien. If you watch the video, you'll see all the incredible reasons we nominated Sophie. Not only is Sophie an amazing boss who inspires and leads with heart, but she's also an extraordinary advocate for our community of 4,000 young people looking for an opportunity. As you know, at Pollen, we do things differently, creating a better experience for both the job seeker and the employer. Thanks to our matchmaking process, we've already helped 45 young people land full-time jobs, and so many more have discovered opportunities through our hidden jobs board and Slack channel. It's not just about filling roles—it's about building confidence, opening doors, and changing the way companies hire. Thank you to Ben Askins and his team, as well as Fiverr, for the opportunity to showcase not only what Pollen is doing for young people but the incredible founder behind it all.
