Struggling to find staff or looking for a new trainee?   Local businesses again have the opportunity to promote their employment opportunities directly to more than 200 senior school students.   Wakefield Regional Council is holding its Careers and Employment Expo on July 31, attracting year 10, 11 and 12 students from Horizon Christian, Balaklava High and Riverton and Districts High schools.   While larger employers will be promoting career and employment opportunities in person, small businesses can supply information about their employment or work experience opportunities , which will be handed to students on the day.   It’s a free advertising opportunity directly targeting more local youth between 15-18 years old, which can’t be replicated in any other form of marketing.   Skill shortages are an ongoing issue in country communities, including hospitality and labour fields.   Simply message this page the relevant position details or email them to [email protected] to promote your opportunity to our future workforce.
