As a guest on Dax Shepard’s podcast Armchair Expert, Cooper, 49, revealed that he’s had plenty of emotional quality time with “a person” that he “spends time with.” “That person’s seen me cry — I’m not exaggerating — probably 150 times in the last year,” he told close friend Shepard, 49. The actor detailed on the Tuesday episode how becoming “calmer” in life has changed the way he cries. He called himself “the ugliest crier” because his “whole body starts to shake.” “I was never the one tear guy. I was like, you sure you want me to cry in this scene? It’s going to be very uncomfortable,” he joked. Now, through therapy and meditation, the Maestro star said he cries “so differently now,” no longer convulsing in sobs. “There’s just more relaxation,” Cooper said. “I recognized that a couple months ago. I was like, tears are coming down.
