Developing future role models through mixed gender sport.
About us
One All Mission: Through the medium of mixed-gender sport, we offer life skill education to teenagers at risk: to help them shape their identity, build empathy and resilience, and influence them to become role-models for their generation and the next. About One All: One All Trust was founded in 2016 to improve the lives of youth in underserved communities in Chennai and Gudalur, Tamil Nadu. The organization uses the sport of ultimate frisbee as a tool to run at-school and after-school values education programs for boys and girls 13-17 years old. To date, One All has worked with over 460 children at government schools and in Doomingkuppam and Srinivasapuram, two of the biggest fishing communities in Chennai. We have also implemented a life skills education program in the Adivasi community of Gudalur, where four Adivasi teachers now run our curriculum in two local schools and one village. Our three year life skills education program integrates sport and values education, and is complementary to conventional education systems in India. We create a fun, safe, friendly learning environment to teach and facilitate discussions on gender, personality, society, stereotyping and sexuality. We envision that the adolescents we work with will be the first generation to challenge gender norms and pursue greater opportunities, rights and freedoms than they had believed possible for themselves.

We are excited to announce that ONE ALL’s Ultimate Frisbee team, "Kaage Manasu Bolluthe," successfully participated in the NCS Regionals South 2024 (Mixed Division) tournament in Chennai from September 26-29. Our team competed in 7 matches and demonstrated outstanding teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship throughout the event. We are honored to share that Kaage Manasu Bolluthe was awarded the prestigious "Best Spirited Team" award, a testament to our commitment to the values of respect, integrity, and fair play - core principles in both Ultimate Frisbee and ONE ALL's broader mission of fostering socio-emotional development through sports. Our team's core goals of teamwork, hard work, and gender equality were at the heart of our efforts throughout the tournament. Our team name, Kaage Manasu Bolluthe, holds deep symbolic meanings. The name translates to "the crow's heart is white," and each part of the name reflects the identity of local tribes: "Kaaga" (crow) translates from the Paniya language, "Manasu" (mind) translates from the Kattunayka language, and "Bolluthe" (white) translates from the Betta Kurumba language. Additionally, the name metaphorically expresses the journey of tribal people moving from a life of darkness toward a brighter future. The team’s symbol incorporates an arrow and bow, and traditional musical instruments like the Thudi(drum) and Cheenam (flute), integral to tribal life, reflecting rich cultural heritage. This accomplishment is a significant milestone, reinforcing our vision of using sports as a transformative tool to empower youth and promote gender equity. We sincerely thank our team members, partners, and the entire ONE ALL community for their unwavering support. #Community #Diversity #Inclusion #Empowerment #Equality #Inspire #Education #Leadership #Growth #Wellness #Hope #Youth #Creativity #Impact #Collaboration #Teamwork #PositiveChange #TogetherWeCan #Spiritofthegame

Introducing the Adivasi Fellowship Program by One All We are dedicated to providing youth leadership and community development through innovative and inclusive approaches. Our 2 year Adivasi Fellowship Program was created in response to the unique challenges faced by Adivasi communities in the Nilgiris district. Issues such as limited access to education, high levels of unemployment, substance abuse, and gender inequality have deeply affected these communities, especially their youth. This program is designed to address these challenges by empowering 20 Adivasi youth from 13 villages to become community leaders through mixed-gender sports, particularly Ultimate Frisbee. The Fellows are selected from the Betta Kurumba, Paniya, and Kattunayakan tribes, range in age from 18 to 30. Many have completed basic education and are engaged in daily wage labour, but lack the opportunities to further develop their potential. Through this Fellowship, they are given the training, mentorship, and support needed to drive meaningful change within their communities. Over the course of two years, Fellows participate in immersive residential camps that combine sports coaching with life skills development, covering areas such as: - Leadership and critical thinking - Conflict resolution and gender equity - Health, nutrition, and financial literacy - Community engagement and social justice Between camps, the Fellows return to their villages to apply their training by developing sports-for-development programs that engage local youth. By the end of the Fellowship, they will not only have become skilled community facilitators, but will also receive two years of employment, ensuring long-term sustainability of their efforts. The Adivasi Fellowship is a bold initiative aimed at breaking the cycle of marginalisation by equipping these young leaders with the tools to challenge societal norms and create lasting change. We are incredibly proud of the progress our Fellows have made, and we invite you to follow their journey as they transform their communities!
