The Hasi project successfully brought smiles to underprivileged children across India. Clubs from diverse regions like Darjeeling, Siliguri, Delhi, and Gangtok participated, distributing essential items, food, and toys tailored to local needs through partnerships with local organizations. This fostered a sense of social responsibility within clubs and promoted community engagement. However, to create a more lasting impact, future iterations of the Hasi project can explore sustainable solutions for ongoing support, develop methods to measure the long-term impact on children's well-being, and consider incorporating needs-based empowerment initiatives alongside gift-giving. Your generosity can help provide a suitable wheelchair and support for disabled people who do not have access to a free health service. 95% of people in Kenya who would benefit from using a wheelchair do not have access to one at all, let alone one that is safe to use and truly meets their needs and environment. Your donation can change that: £25 could buy a wheelchair cushion, preventing dangerous pressure injuries. £50 could provide a disabled person with mobility training & support, giving them the confidence to move around freely. £250 could provide a disabled person with the right wheelchair so they have more chance to participate fully in everyday life.
