Meet the Winning Startups of the “Pitch Competition” of Baku ID 2024 🤩🎉 🚀 Over two exciting days, 15 teams reached the finals. Out of these, 7 exceptional startups emerged victorious and secured investment opportunities. Check out the highlights from the “University Demo Day” competition, held on June 27, 2024, as part of the annual Baku ID innovation festival! 🥳 Thanks to SABAH.academy’s expanding reach, the 2nd edition of “University Demo Day” featured 16 teams from 8 partner universities: Baku State University, Azerbaijan Technical University, SABAH groups of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics • UNEC, The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Sumgayit State University, Baku Engineering University, Western Caspian University / Qərbi Kaspi Universitet, and Khazar University. These teams presented innovative solutions across various sectors, including GreenTech, EdTech, MediaTech, E-commerce, Lifestyle, Entertainment, and more. After an intense competition, the top 3 winning teams were: 1️⃣ 1st place - “DryCare” from The Academy of Public Administration Under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (team members: Ilyas Hasanli, Leyla Aghayeva, Laman Fataliyeva, Novruz Mammadli, Adila Karimli) with an innovative lifestyle solution. 2️⃣ 2nd place - “Sadarak Express” from the SABAH groups of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (team members: Laman Ismayilova, Narmin Mammadli, Albina Mammadova, Ayan Javadova) with an e-commerce solution. 3️⃣ 3rd place - “Focus” from Baku State University (team members: Jeysun Ibrahimova, Aytaj Sadigova, Omar Imanli, Nazrin Mammadova, and Sama Azizova) with a creative economy platform. The winners received awards from SABAH.HUB and educational scholarships from the Baku Design Academy. Meet the winners of the #CleanTech startup competition at Baku ID! 🥳 🌎 The CleanTech stage of Baku ID, sponsored by the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and ABB, hosted a competition on June 28, where startups focused on a greener world and sustainable development showcased their ideas. Out of 30 participating teams, 13 advanced to the finals, earning a spot in a 1-month intensive Acceleration program. From this program, 10 teams will be selected to receive $100,000 in investment from Startupbootcamp and the opportunity to join the SABAH.lab #Acceleration program. 🏆 A huge congratulations to the victorious teams: “Nexus Lab”, “Lumian”, “Green Stone”, “BoomGrow”, “Berkm”, “RumiTech”, “AsUniSer”, “BlueIt”, “Biopols”, “Sumart”, “Agroficient”, “Farmolog”, “Beworks”.
