  • 📢 Exciting Developments in South Africa's Infrastructure – The 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯/𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 #𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗯 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 is Now Available! “Strategic integrated projects have grown from 𝗥𝟯𝟰𝟬 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟬 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝟱𝟰𝟬 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆! The energy sector, with renewable energy programs and green hydrogen projects, is poised to become a R1-trillion industry—promising significant economic growth and job creation. 🌍⚡ However, gaps in our approach to infrastructure development remain. To address this, an Infrastructure Advisory Committee will be established to develop recommendations for unlocking and accelerating infrastructure projects across all three spheres of Government. We can no longer work in silos; collaboration is key! 🤝 By 2030, public sector investment in infrastructure must increase to 10% of GDP to achieve greater growth. Infrastructure doesn’t just support our economy—it improves competitiveness, boosts trade and strengthens South Africa’s integration into the global economy. Let’s build a brighter future together! “ – Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure, Dean Macpherson. Want to learn more?
