    The Rational Summary
    • So essentially, for our FMP we will be recording a short
    comedy/action film based . We decided a short film because we both
    wanted to create a film based around the typical chavvy teenager in
    Wellingborough. We both got inspiration by watching the film
    “AnuvaHood” which is based around the same idea as what we want
    to create.
    Project Concept - Summary
    • We will be creating a short film which will be a comedy and action
    based around 3 teenagers discovering a government threat planning
    to eliminate Wellingborough off the map for good without rest of the
    world knowing, the 3 teenagers find out about this by a robbery they
    commit themselves, but decide to take it into their own hands to stop
    the government continuing with this plan. Whilst obstacles such as
    the local bully and government agents step in their way.
    What we will evaluate
    • During this project we will be evaluating our Practical work. To do this
    we will be reviewing the final edit to find any clips that could have
    turned out better.
    • We will also review everything we have created in the pre-production
    stage of this FMP, these being the storyboard, script, shot list, etc.
    What major problems we hope to solve?
    • One problem we could solve is not getting the drone stuck in a tree as
    this has happened in the past while filming as we lost it for weeks.
    • Trying to get all the actors together will be a pain because everyone
    will not be free at the same time, to counter this we will try plan
    weeks before we actually go out to film so they know.
    • Places we plan to film in Wellingborough may need permission to do
    so. If we are unable to get permission for the required area we will
    get a list of backup areas Similar to it (hopefully) in wellingborough to
    film in.
    Primary research
    • For our primary research we watched many films based around chavs
    getting involved with some kind of problem. Our main inspiration
    being ”anuvahood” for its chavvy characters and setting of the film
    and “attack the block” again for its chavvy characters.
    • We created focus groups to talk about our FMP and what could go
    well with it and what complications could arise (area permission,
    actors schedule, etc)
    Secondary research
    • Looking furthur into these types of films we went onto youtube to
    find student short films based around them too. This way we were
    able to see how other students filmed it without planning too much
    which they were unable to perform.
    How we will present our work
    • We will present our work by placing everything we have done on a
    weebly page (individually) this will be including all work from the pre-
    production, post-production and evaluation.
    • With these parts of work we will include screenshots and
    explanations with them to show the production.
    • The final short film itself will be posted on youtube and weebly.
    What we hope to provide as a final piece
    • For a final piece we are hoping to produce a short action/comedy film
    which will last a good 20-30minutes without getting boring half way
    through.
    • A detailed Weebly page providing everything we done with
    screenshots and explanations
    Evaulate the project
    • Strengths:
    1) We both know what we are planning for the final piece
    2) We have the required equipment to film (Drone, High-end camera, props)
    3) We have planned the idea of the film already and just need to expand on it
    • Weaknesses:
    1) Areas we are hoping to film at may be private areas and not allow filming
    2) Luke’s drone skills
    3) Are the actors available to film when we are planning to?
