Infinite limits give information on the existence

of vertical asymptotes on the graph of the function.


Limits at infinity, on the other hand, are used to show
the existence of horizontal asymptotes on the graph.
Horizontal asymptotes are the horizontal lines that a
curve approaches as it goes to infinity.
