The Belgian-Brazilian brewery Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev ) was formed through the

merge of the two companies, Anheuser-Busch and InBev, in 2008, making it the world’s
largest brewer worldwide.

 The company is specialized in beer brewing and their product portfolio, which
contains global, international and local beer brands, includes more than 200
different trademarks. Some of their signature brands (GLOBAL BRANDS)
include Budweiser, Corona or Stella Artois, which are enjoyed worldwide. 
 Its international brands are Beck's, Hoegaarden and Leffe.

 It had 200 brands prior to the merger with SABMiller on October 10, 2016. The
combined ABInBev/SAB Miller entity has approximately 400 beer brands as of
January 2017.
 The original InBev global brands are Budweiser, Corona and Stella Artois.
 The rest are categorized as local brands. Many other brands were gained as a result
of the merger with SABMiller.
 The estimated annual sales for the company in 2017 will be US$55 billion; prior to
the merger, ABInBev had realized US$43.6 billion in revenue in 2015.
 The company is expected to have an estimated global market share of 28 percent,
according to Euromonitor International
 Global beer production exceeded 1.94 billion hectoliters in 2018, increasing steadily
over the years from around 1.3 billion hectoliters 20 years prior. In 2018, Anheuser-
Busch InBev produced approximately 567 million hectoliters of beer globally, by far
the largest beer producer worldwide.
 The company had double the production volume of competitors such as Heineken in
the USA. 

The company generated revenue of about 52.33 billion U.S. dollars in 2019.

 The company positioned itself as a market leader in the beer industry worldwide,
capturing nearly 30 percent global market share in 2018.

In comparison to other selected breweries, AB InBev was leading in advertising


spending. The company recorded ad expenditure of around 428 million U.S.
dollars in the United States in 2019.

 They also spent the most on 2019 Super Bowl advertisements than any other
company.
