Exclusions from our scope of supply

a) Any Major or Minor civil works like DG Foundation, Cable trench, masioning works for underground
laying works etc.
b) Storage of all materials at site, Any Loss / Damage of Materials after supply of materials at site shall be
accounted on Customers scope.
c) Initial Load & Diesel for Trial run at site.
d) End Termination of Cables in DG Panel & EB Panel.
e) Extension of Silencer Pipes to Terrace or as per norms. Scaffolding Arrangements for Silencer Works /
Cable Laying Works, if required.
f) Obtaining statutory approvals like CEIG & etc shall be done by us at additional cost provided customer has
to provide us the Necessary Documents & Drawings. Approval can be obtained by us only if customers
follow the instructions given by us.
g) If customer themselves taking care of installation & Commissioning, they should strictly follow our
guidelines & instructions to avail warranty. Failing on which warranty shall be void.
h) If any works required at site, which are not quoted / considered in our quote shall be done at additional
actual charges.
 Annexure II: Terms & Conditions

1. VALIDITY: Price quoted is valid for next 15 days from the date of submission of this offer.
2. EXCISE DUTY / VAT: Excise Duty @ 12.5% is included; VAT @ 5% is included. If in case of any
changes in Taxes / duties at the time of delivery, the same shall be added to customer account. For
160kVA & above ED as such applicable are included. For delivery to other states, CST/OCTROI shall
be applicable.
3. F.O.R – To - Site: Freight charges are Included.
4. PAYMENT TERMS:
a. Supply of DG Set & AMF: 50% Advance along with the Purchase Order & balance against
Proforma, prior to dispatch. We will never accept payment after delivery / Credit.
b. Installation & Commissioning: 60% Advance along with the work order, Balance 40%
against completion of works at site. This payment term is applicable only if we have quoted for
I & C. Retention of Payment is not acceptable.
5. DELIVERY: Within 2 weeks from the date of your order with advance. Customer should take their
DG set once it’s ready by clearing the balance payment. Failing on which may take other 2 weeks to
deliver the DG Set. Delivery is subject to the availability of products with KOEL.
6. WARRANTY: 24 Months or 5000 Hours Standard Warranty for the Engine & Alternator, from the
date of Commissioning or 18 Months from the date of supply, whichever is earlier. Warranty for the
DG Set will be given only by the Authorized Kirloskar Service Dealers (KOEL CARE). If in case of
any due to the company, warranty for the DG set may be void. Kindly ask for Warranty Policy for
further details. To avail the Warranty for the DG Set Customer should service Gensets only through
Service dealers during warranty period.
7. INSTALLATION & COMMISSIONING: Quote for installation & Commissioning shall be given
only after site inspection as the cost of I & C are site depent. If in case of quote submitted for the same,
quantities considered for I & C shall vary depending up on site condition & change of Gensets
locations. Quantities measured at site shall be final.
8. GENSET RATING : If the rating of the Genset is decided by the customer / Consultant / Contractor /
BOQ given by customers, they are sole responsible for the rating related issued raises after
commissioning of DG set. Customer can avail free load study from us before finalizing the order to
purchase right capacity of Genset.
9. PURCHASE ORDER: Purchase order & Payments for the generator has to be placed on VEL
ENGINEERS. If in case of cancellation of order after processing order, 5% cancellation charges are
applicable. If customer wants to claim ED or having exemption for ED, VAT & Service taxes, have to
place the order on our Manufacturing Facility.
 Annexure III: Technical Specification

1.0 DIESEL ENGINE: Prime Power, indigenous industrial KIRLOSKAR make, 4-stroke,
3 Cylinders, (3R1040TA G1 ), Water Cooled, 1500 RPM, with a provision of 10% overload for 1
hour after 12 hours of continuous running under standard reference conditions.

2.0 ALTERNATOR: 45kVA KIRLOSKAR Green alternator suitably rated at 0.8 PF, 3 Phase,
415 VOLTS, 50 Hz, 1500, self-excited and self-regulated, with brushless excitation, Band of
Voltage regulation ±1.5% of rated voltage, ‘H’ Class Insulation.

3.0 PERIPHERALS:
Kirloskar Diesel Engine, Kirloskar Green Brushless Alternator, Residential Silencer, Formed base
plate, Powder coated sheet metal DG set Control Panel complete with Genset controller for
Genset/engine metering and electrical/mechanical safeties, with required size of MCB / MCCB /
ACB, Automatic shutdown in case of fault detection for LLOP & High Cylinder Temperature.
Emergency push button for Genset shutdown. Removable sheet metal fuel tank with capacity for
full load non-stop 8 hr running, fuel level indicator. Up to 160kVA with 12V & above 200kVA
with 24V battery of adequate capacity compatible with the DG Set operating temperature limits
and engine mode. Kirloskar Green Silent Canopy that out performs the stipulated CPCB 2 norms
from Government of India & shall have sound pressure level of less than 75 dB (A) at 1 metre from
the enclosure surface at Green Field Conditions.

4.0 KIRLOSKAR REMOTE MONITORING (KRM): 82.5kVA & above Gensets comes with
complete remote monitoring control. The KRM system links your Genset with a central monitoring
data server through a SIM and internet. The complete monitoring panel with all critical indicators
can be viewed on your laptop screen or mobile. You also get all alarms on your mobile phone.
Critical Parameters: DG Run hrs, Fuel level, Engine oil pressure, Engine temperature, Engine
speed (RPM), voltage/ current/ kW, battery monitoring, PF & Frequency, routine maintenance
indicator Critical Alarms: Low fuel level, low lube oil pressure, fuel theft, Engine speed, High
Engine temperature, Mains On/ Off, Low/ High battery voltage.

5.0 KOEL AMFi (Optional): KOEL AMFi panels automatically switch on your Genset when the
mains supply, fails and switch off the Genset when the mains supply restores giving you un-
matched convenience. The AMF
range gives you unmatched flexibility. You can operate the Genset manually through the selector
switches on the panel. You can also switch-OFF the AMF panel when you don't want the Genset to
operate automatically.
