This event aims to bring together scholars, artists, practitioners, and creativity enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds to engage in interdisciplinary dialogue, exchange ideas, and deepen our understanding of the multifaceted relationship between art and storytelling. Art and storytelling have long been intertwined, influencing and inspiring one another across cultures and throughout history. From cave paintings to contemporary digital media, artists have used various mediums and techniques to convey narratives, evoke emotions, challenge perspectives, and provoke thought. Whether through visual arts, literature, film, theatre, music, or other creative forms, storytelling remains a fundamental aspect of human expression and communication. We invite submissions that explore any aspect of the relationship between art and storytelling, including but not limited to: - The role of narrative in visual arts and other creative disciplines - The use of symbolism, metaphor, and allegory in artistic expression - The influence of cultural, social, and historical contexts on storytelling practices - The intersection of traditional and contemporary storytelling techniques - The relationship between audience engagement and narrative interpretation - The impact of technology on storytelling and artistic production - Collaborative storytelling processes and interdisciplinary approaches - The ethics and responsibilities of storytelling in art We welcome proposals for individual papers, panel sessions, workshops, and creative presentations. Submissions should include an abstract (250-300 words) outlining the proposed topic, its relevance to the symposium theme, and any audiovisual or technical requirements. The creative economy includes audiovisual products, design, media, music, performing arts, publishing and visual arts. An evolving concept by nature, it involves goods and services based on creativity and intellectual capital as primary inputs. With exports of these products growing strongly in recent years, robust regulatory frameworks are necessary to ensure technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) benefit everyone and foster a competitive and sustainable creative economy. Behold the meagre imagination embarrassment in a televisual style at the enigmatic borderlands, unto itself softly scrolling a listless series of observational prose flattened into a wet pulp. An F-pattern blurred together in whitespace reflects the dispassionate user reciprocity over its unique architecture, mimicking the continuity of a cinematic montage, capturing interconnectedness, a rehabilitating one, eroded with no beginning or end. Intermezzo confessionalism is a system of voluntary disclosure to digitize footnotes that turned out to be written by different authors.  It's not so much a genre as a situation that mimics the feedback loops of social media. A voyeuristic curiosity that so much automatically displaces the bi-directional in a parasitic arrangement of the object of literary critique into a strange sense that something was missing, as performance over production turns an illusory appearance of a narcissist root into a tangled repository of independent units. Internet's immersive quality helps discover intrusive tendency and narrative convenience to be true, reenacting the alphabetic process of the paradigmatic engine over the ambiguity and fragmentation of the world and history, in a therapizing style to be gripped with both hands or in the purlieu of a computer screen.

Belief in that human resolve also permeates our season campaign. While last year we had an AI machine generate images, this year we called on Antonin Waterkeyn, an artist who involves AI in his creative process. It is hard to imagine a better image of our relation to this new technology: by continuing to engage with it while at the same time reserving a greater role for the human curator, we are again making room for artistic authenticity and autonomy. As such, we are returning to what keeps the FATE and DARE axis in balance: the courage to face that destiny, while also investing fully in the human emotion needed to keep having an impact.
