This event aims to bring together scholars, artists, practitioners, and creativity enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds to engage in interdisciplinary dialogue, exchange ideas, and deepen our understanding of the multifaceted relationship between art and storytelling. Art and storytelling have long been intertwined, influencing and inspiring one another across cultures and throughout history. From cave paintings to contemporary digital media, artists have used various mediums and techniques to convey narratives, evoke emotions, challenge perspectives, and provoke thought. Whether through visual arts, literature, film, theatre, music, or other creative forms, storytelling remains a fundamental aspect of human expression and communication. We invite submissions that explore any aspect of the relationship between art and storytelling, including but not limited to: - The role of narrative in visual arts and other creative disciplines - The use of symbolism, metaphor, and allegory in artistic expression - The influence of cultural, social, and historical contexts on storytelling practices - The intersection of traditional and contemporary storytelling techniques - The relationship between audience engagement and narrative interpretation - The impact of technology on storytelling and artistic production - Collaborative storytelling processes and interdisciplinary approaches - The ethics and responsibilities of storytelling in art We welcome proposals for individual papers, panel sessions, workshops, and creative presentations. Submissions should include an abstract (250-300 words) outlining the proposed topic, its relevance to the symposium theme, and any audiovisual or technical requirements.
