If an employee speaks up, it’s taken as a threat—not an opportunity. I’ve personally experienced this backfire effect. In my previous workplace, all my colleagues were struggling by our manager’s behavior, but fear of retaliation keeps everyone silent. Unfortunately, this isn’t an isolated incident. Studies show that *74% of employees* feel unheard by their managers, and *46% of professionals fear retaliation* when they raise concerns about workplace issues. When organizations ignore or punish feedback: - It destroys trust. - It fuels high attrition rates. - It diminishes productivity. To those working in toxic environments: You deserve better.
