🙌 We are very excited to officially announce the Regenerative Communities Fund (RCF) through the Funding Fairer Futures project—a transformative initiative designed to catalyse ecosocial just transition and the first fund specifically dedicated to supporting regenerative communities across Europe. The RCF seeks to empower community-led initiatives (CLIs) by offering seed funding and capacity-building support. This Fund represents a significant step toward building equitable, sustainable, and resilient communities 🌱 We are encouraging experienced national networks and organisations from 10 European countries (Croatia, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, and Spain) to apply for subgranting support through the RCF. This first call will select five National Hubs (one from five of these ten countries) to lead local, community-driven initiatives that address climate change and ecological degradation at a national level. Each Hub will receive €40,000 for 30 months of contribution to the fund development. These hubs will play a critical role in the Funding Fairer Futures project by fostering collaboration, coordination, and advocacy, thereby enhancing the impact and resilience of communities across Europe. 🗓️ Key Dates: Applications open: 13 January 2025 Deadline to apply: 7 March 2025 Projects begin: May/June 2025 🔴 If you would like to stay updated on upcoming news related to the Funding Fairer Futures project, sign up to the FFF mailing list: https://lnkd.in/extygdbZ Read more: https://lnkd.in/eZNbRZNE
Hi all! Can Ugandan non-profit organizations eligible to apply? Thank you Amon CEO Rwenzori Environment connect-Uganda [email protected] [email protected]
Super happy to see an opportunity like this coming up! It would be even more exciting to see small but impactful funds like this being distributed more equitably across the Southern and Eastern parts of Europe where alternatives are growing more slowly, and too often against the harsher mainstream-leaning and extreme environments of the regional economy
Tagging for my network.

1wAmazing initiative. Just sad Belgium is not in the mix. We can always use more help to develop the Commons Hub Brussels to make it an embassy for all those regenerative communities in the capital of Europe. In the meantime, we are very happy that other regen communities will benefit from it and we look forward to connecting with them!
