When I talk about having “imperfect” outreach or pitches… I’d much rather have a year-long series of 85-90% tailored messages than a short burst of “perfect” pitches that lack resonance. Those steady, research-driven efforts are the mortar that holds up every brick in your client relationships and pipeline. It's the glue of dependability. Consistency with an ICP-focused strategy is the real path to sustainable success. That’s what builds a reliable book of business. You won’t build trust or scale relationships overnight. This applies to sales, customer understanding, and any strategy you’re refining. I’d take consistent, targeted outreach over a perfect plan any day. I’d rather make that carefully researched connection than endlessly strategize. Start by understanding your audience—get to know them before refining your approach.
