#Unpopularopinion 𝘼 𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙡-𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙙, 𝙄𝘾𝙋-𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙮 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙨 𝙖 𝙛𝙡𝙖𝙬𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙥𝙞𝙩𝙘𝙝 𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮. Consistency is everything. When I talk about having “imperfect” outreach or pitches… I’d much rather have a year-long series of 85-90% tailored messages than a short burst of “perfect” pitches that lack resonance. Those steady, research-driven efforts are the mortar that holds up every brick in your client relationships and pipeline. It's the glue of dependability. Consistency with an ICP-focused strategy is the real path to sustainable success. That’s what builds a reliable book of business. You won’t build trust or scale relationships overnight. This applies to sales, customer understanding, and any strategy you’re refining. I’d take consistent, targeted outreach over a perfect plan any day. I’d rather make that carefully researched connection than endlessly strategize. Start by understanding your audience—get to know them before refining your approach.
