There are countless tools to choose from when creating a podcast. I've tried lots of them over the last three years so you don't have to. Here are the 3 tools that I choose to create and publish my podcast every week. 🚀 1 - SquadCast.fm by Descript 🚀 Squadcast has become my go-to in-browser remote recording software. We tried virtually every platform out there and for our needs, this was perfect. The interface is pretty and easy to use, we've had no issues with bugs and it records in the high quality we need. Last year Squadcast joined Descript so both tools now come bundled which made the choice even easier. 🎥 2 - Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve 🎥 Davinci is film industry standard video editing software with a free version that is feature-packed. After each recording, I vision switch between myself, my cohost, and a 3rd split screen of us both. The Fairlight Audio system also delivers what I need to do intricate audio processing. I can rely on a single software to export processed video and audio. The final color grading tools are also a great bonus for that professional look I want on our show. 🎨 3 - Canva 🎨 We use Canva for all our YouTube Thumbnails and Social Media Memes. My co-host John has no Photoshop experience and began using Canva only a few months ago. He was able to pick up the technical side in no time which allowed him to unleash his creativity. We have become total Canva fanboys like so many others. 🌟Let me know if you'd like some more info on the hardware we use and the platforms we use to distribute.🌟
