🎥 Behind the scenes - Creating a Case Study Video without Client Involvement How do you create a compelling case study video without directly featuring the client? We just published our first case study video, and I couldn’t be prouder of the team effort! Here’s how we went about it: 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞: We wanted to showcase the incredible success of one of our clients without having them on camera. This meant developing a narrative case study video instead of a customer testimonial. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬: We relied on creativity, thorough research, and narrative storytelling to highlight the client’s journey and the impact. 1. 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 - We chose the classic case study style for the video’s structure - highlighting the challenges, solutions and measurable outcomes. 2. 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 - My talented team of writers and editors made sure each sentence flowed naturally. We kept the script concise, on message, and captured the essence of the client’s story. 3. 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 - We used multiple B-rolls, animations, and custom graphics to maintain viewer engagement and visually communicate key points. 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭: The final video effectively showcased our client’s success and the value of our solution, all while keeping the viewer engaged and informed. Storytelling. It's a powerful way to connect to people. Video is a great way to tell stories, but those stories still need to be crafted well. It's more than just recording... Telling a story well on video starts with a good plan. Using that plan you record, capturing the words and images, though not always in the exact order they appear in the final version. Then you assemble them. The footage is edited to actually tell that story you planned. Even better is to work with a video editor who knows almost intuitively how to do that. This is how I help clients tell the stories they mean to. Sometimes the footage doesn't need a lot of attention. Other times it's time intensive. I can handle both, and I do... so that my clients don't need to think about it beyond plan and record. It's a team effort, with the client using their expertise, and my expertise coming alongside to create a truly powerful story... together. What story do you need to tell for your business? Let's talk about how partnering with me as your editor would make that story even more powerful for your marketing. #contentmarketing #video #storytelling #videoeditor #podcast

Ever wondered why your videos are not able to retain the attention of your viewers? Many creators find their audience dropping off within the first 5 seconds. The reason is not far-fetched. Your videos were able to grab their attention but not retain their attention for long. The key isn't just grabbing the attention but retaining it throughout. To ensure viewer engagement, it's essential to focus not only on your hook but also on your entire content. To solve this problem, you need to; 📌 Scrutinise your content and ensure you're passing the right information. 📌 Ensure your content is relevant to your audience. 📌 Let your footage be appealing and void of distractions. 📌 Noisy background can be a huge turnoff for your audience, eliminate it. If you can't film with a mic, consider editing your audio using AI tools like Adobe podcast. 📌 The length of your video matters, so trim excessive and unnecessary parts. 📌 Add graphics, effects and transitions to make your video more appealing. 📌 Hire a video editor to do the magic for you. This is where we come in, at Ovids, we can help you edit your videos seamlessly, and the best part? Our service is affordable. You can't do all these and still not have the attention of your viewers till the end of your video. What challenge are you currently facing with your videos? Let me know in the comment section, I may have a solution to it. #videomarketing #videoediting

This is something I've been thinking a lot about lately. With SO MANY people creating content - how do you stand out? In addition to the thoughts I added in the post - there's a couple of other things: 1. Make sure you really understand your audience and their needs. It's easy to think that your audience thinks like you... But that's not always the case. 2. Don't be afraid to ask your audience what they want. It sounds simple, but a lot of times we create content we THINK they want - when in reality, we're missing the actual pain points they're experiencing. What thoughts would you share on this topic?
With so much content competing for your audience's attention - cutting through that noise becomes really important. There's two ways to do it: 1. Be louder and more obnoxious. 2. Create content that people actually seek out and want to engage with. This is the power of creating educational content. It allows you to build trust, create a meaningful connection, and position your brand as an authority in the space - all without feeling like a used car salesman. We had the honor of helping Prairiewood Wealth Management put together ebooks, email and evaluation templates, a learning center, a podcast and more. They had a great vision for serving their audience, and they're doing an incredible job! "🎨 Transforming Ideas into Impactful Thumbnails 🚀 In the dynamic world of content creation, visuals are the first interaction your audience has with your work. A well-designed thumbnail not only grabs attention but also communicates the essence of your message effectively. Here’s a before-and-after of a podcast thumbnail design we recently revamped. What changed? 1️⃣ Clarity of Message: The addition of clear, bold text emphasizes the podcast's key takeaway—'EARN 10L/Month.' This instantly hooks the audience with a promise of value. 2️⃣ Visual Storytelling: By incorporating elements like stacks of money and a silhouette trophy, we made the thumbnail visually engaging, reinforcing the message of success and achievement. 3️⃣ Branding Elements: Including the verified profile badge (‘Satish K Videos’) builds credibility and trust with viewers. 4️⃣ Professional Appeal: Improved contrast, vibrant colors, and balanced composition make the thumbnail stand out, especially in a crowded feed. Results? This transformation turns a generic frame into a compelling visual that drives clicks and boosts engagement. 💼 🎯 Lesson: Investing in thoughtful design can amplify your content's reach and impact. Whether you're creating for YouTube, LinkedIn, or Instagram, remember that the first impression counts. #PodcastThumbnail #ContentStrategy #GraphicDesign #BeforeAndAfter #VisualMarketing #Thumbnail #YoutubeThumbnailDesigner #ThumbnailDesigner
