I’m deeply humbled to announce the launch of my new book, Rediscovering Joy: A Journey Through Grief and Healing.
Grief touches us all in different ways, whether it’s mourning the loss of a loved one, the end of a cherished relationship, or the life we once envisioned. This book offers a comforting hand to hold, a voice of understanding, and a beacon of hope for those navigating the painful yet transformative process of loss.
Writing this was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but if it helps even one person find light in their darkest moments, I’ll know it was worth it.

🙏📖👀 Rosies Book Reviews!
📕 Mum's Jumper by Jayde Perkin
💭 This is a simple but effective book that will strike a chord with anyone experiencing grief. It depicts the story of loss, the immediate effects and the 'growing around your grief' analogy with the support of those around you.
The book is gentle, genuine and relatable.
Parents could read this with their children and would be suitable for children aged 5+ I'd say (developmentally speaking). I believe this book may pave the way towards normalising feelings and experiences which at the time will feel completely abnormal and unwanted.
Keep your eyes peeled for the next review in the series!

More information on my third book, "Love Is in the Details: A Hopeful Journey in Grief" coming soon.
"Losing my mom at 38-years-old is the most crushing blow I’ve yet to endure, and writing this book has been my lifeline. While I immediately distracted myself with my duty and privilege to honor my mom by writing her obituary, and giving her eulogy, the heaviest grief took some months to take hold. After the dust had settled I found myself pouring through notebooks with words I had written while enduring the darkest, most uncertain times: hospital visits; awaiting diagnosis; learning what diagnosis really means; finding a way to carry on and live my life knowing she might only have months to live. Upon reading those words I knew I had to write this book."
My children’s book helps kids deal with grief and guilt. I’m putting together a list of other children’s books ( a variety of ages) and resources to help kids cope with worry, anxiety, and grief. Any suggestions?#childrensbooks#copingwithanxiety#kidscopingwithgrief
Faces of Grief is a hodgepodge of stories written by people battling grief related to their circumstances. Each author has utilized this book as an opportunity to continue their individual fight with their grief while helping others battling their grief understand that there are ebbs and flows. Still, those changes become opportunities for progress, growth, and an elevation that will bring people closer to a new version of themselves.

Why purchase my new book? 📚
If you are feeling bewildered and lost in grief, this book is the companion you need. At some stage, everyone experiences grief. Whether you consciously experience it or not is a choice.
Within the pages of Conscious Grief, you’ll discover ideas on how to support yourself as you grieve through self-care practices, therapies, modern mourning, spiritual seeking, and navigating triggers that abound in the sensitive mourning state.
I use my own experience of losing both my parents by the time I was twenty-one years old. My grief was repressed for many years. However, since I began to consciously grieve, I became engaged, invigorated and grateful for my life.
I draw on the experiences of people I has interviewed for my Conscious Grief Series as examples of other loss.
Conscious Grief encapsulates that grieving is a physical, emotional, and spiritual experience. This book is an invitation to bring intention and awareness to allow transformation and growth.
I hope you get as much from it as I did writing it 💛
