📞COLD CALLING VS 📝DIRECT MAIL… Which is More Expensive???? I was on a live last week and a person commented and said that direct mail is more expensive than cold calling. This is a common misconception in wholesaling. Everyone thinks just because the entry point to cold calling is less expensive, that the strategy overall is less expensive. To cold call, you have to download a list, skiptrace that list, and enter it into a dialing software where you need a “power dialer” to dial multiple numbers at a time (if you want to be able to produce the volume it takes to get a deal). On the low end, you are spending $400/month to be able to do that. Most people go 4,5,6 months and never get a deal because cold calling is beyond saturated. You have to dial 150-200 dials A DAY, AND have an effective script in order to cold call successfully. Most can’t do that. For my direct mail operation, in most of my markets, I can send out 1,000 letters to get 1 deal. That 1,000 letters cost me $650. My average deal size is $10k. So I spend $650 to make $10k. Which is more expensive??? #wholesalingrealestate #realestateinvesting #realestate

We added +$10k/mo for a client in 1 month How? Cold email. Here’s how we did it: 𝟭/ 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 We first off did deep research into the clients business. Their niche, offer, etc. This is because better we can understand their business the better our emails are for them. 𝟮/ 𝗦𝘂𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 & 𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁 The subject line should always be simple. • “Quick question [Name]” • “Question for [Name]” The simpler, the better. We wrote short emails because they simply convert better. 𝟯/ F𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝘂𝗽 𝘀𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 I can’t stress the importance of this. Most sales are NOT made in the first email. 80% of your money will be made in the follow-ups. These follow-ups performed amazingly. 𝟰/ 𝗔/𝗕 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 We A/B tested nearly everything. Email copy, subject lines, CTAs, lead lists, etc. We slightly adjusted as time went on. And that is how we got our client to 100K ARR in ONLY 1 MONTH... Thanks so much for reading! 3 best cold email subject lines: (Coming from someone who sends 20k+ emails/day) 1. Quick question This one is historically the best subject line of all time. It is a bit overused, but it works. This is going to get you 40-70% open rates very consistently. 2. [Company Name] x [Your Company] - Intro This one is a lot less common than the “quick question” line. I’ve used this to get 90%+ open rates for clients. It works because the subject line acts as if you’re sending a referral or have an opportunity for them. It’s very non salesly — and just super effective overall. 3. Hi [Business owners first name This works very well because it’s PERSONAL. It seems like a co-worker emailing a friend. This is used a lot, but that’s because it actually works. ___ Thanks for reading. Follow me for more cold email content like this!

Bulk cold calling is dead. I don't even answer my phone anymore, if you're not in my address book or I don't recognize the caller ID. Do you do the same? Maybe if I'm bored and I happen to answer, if there is any split-second pause (aka automated dialer system), I hang up right away. If it's that important, the caller will either leave a message or call back right away (double or triple tap); automated dialers never do! If I ran a outbound sales team, this would not be part of my strategy. This doesn't mean, there would be Zero cold calls. A strategic cold call to a smaller, targeted list as part of a larger sequence (must leave a vm), or to gather information can be a tactic in a broader play. A good email or ad can still grab me, but cold callers have 0 chance.

Today I want to talk about the top 3 mistakes people make when doing cold email. First thing. Not having a cold email offer. Usually, you can't sell your minimum 6-month recurring service for $5K/mo. What works on referrals (the warmest possible leads) will not work on someone who is completely cold. Your cold offers need to be 10x better. Here is what a good cold email offer should consist of: - Quick and easy to set up - Naturally leads to your recurring service - Solves a major prospect problem - They typically spend money on it - They see fast or immediate results - It should minimize risk not just cost - Money-back guarantee Second thing. Not being client-centric and relevant. Most folks send emails and it looks like this. Me, ME, mE, buy me service, I am the best, work with me. The main point of sending cold emails is to identify the problem of your prospect and solve it. So do it. Do only talk about you, talk about THEM. Third and the last thing. Not segmenting your email list. It's cool that you have a great offer, but you need to present it differently to different people. You will talk differently to market people and different when talking to the CEO.

“We are” cold email mistake that hurts sales (And how to fix it) Here’s an example of a “We are” cold email that hurts sales: “Hello, I heard about your company through a digital agency that I work with. We are a tech company in the payment space working with digital agencies and big web development companies. We are also one of the biggest providers of payment software for attorney firms in the US and K-12 schools in the US.” As you can see, phrases like: “I heard”, “We are a tech”, and “We are also” make the whole email about the sender. The first thing I ask myself is: What’s in it for me? What will I get if I agree to a meeting? Instead of writing an email like this, focus on one clear problem. Or, focus on one clear outcome. In this case, if they’re selling payment software to attorneys, a outcomes could be: "Automated invoicing ensures 3x faster payments." or "Achieve faster, error-free payments." Both of these outcomes are relevant enough to get a reply. If you want to discovery more about how a cold email can get meetings and pre-sell: Link is here: lnkd.in/e72RvDyc

Cold email is NOT dead (...here's why it's still one of the BEST ways to get customers in 2024): This week I had to go into the trenches with a client and convince them why cold email is still worth it. Here are 6 reasons why: 1️⃣ There are 4+ billion email accounts worldwide 2️⃣ 300+ billion emails are sent every day 3️⃣ The average person looks at their email 15 times a day 4️⃣ 64% of people say they prefer to be contacted by email 5️⃣ 72% of buyers say they replied to a sales email in the last 12 months 6️⃣ 86% of employees use email as their primary work communication The truth is, cold email WORKS when done right. Cold email is far from dead. It's still one of the most effective ways to reach potential customers and grow your business. Don't sleep on it! P.S. What did I miss? Let me know in the comments! P.P.S. We’ve helped clients generate $51.2 M in revenue and book 224,700 sales calls through Linkedin. I can confirm, cold calling is dead. Here's what it takes to book just ONE meeting: 1 Meeting 19 Connects (5.4% Connect Rate) 402 Dials (4.6% Set Rate) 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐩 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝟒𝟎𝟐 𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝟏 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠. 𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐮𝐥. But what about a top quartile rep? Let's see... 1 Meeting (13.3% Connect Rate) 8 Connects (16.7% Set Rate) 45 Cold Calls 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐬 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝟏 𝐌𝐄𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐏𝐄𝐑 𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬. But wait... there's more! When coupled with cold emails, cold calls DOUBLE YOUR EMAIL REPLY RATE, even when you don't connect. 1 hour per day. 1 meeting per hour. 2x the email replies. Not a bad deal. *** While the suck of cold calling never goes away... This book will give you everything it takes to become a top quartile dialer so that "the suck" of cold calling becomes worth it: 1️⃣ Every part of a cold call, step-by-step (with talk tracks) 2️⃣ Voiceovers (in QR codes) to master tone 3️⃣ Examples no matter what you sell 4️⃣ Backed by data from 300M+ cold calls on Gong (as seen above ) And when it's all laid out step-by-step... You'll find that it's not that hard to beat the average. 𝐖𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬. It drops on August 14th. Our team found 2,500+ real B2B email addresses last quarter without spending a dime. Want to know how?" Look, finding good emails is a pain. We all know it. But here's what worked for us at Intandemly: 1. Dig up one real email from the company. Check their press stuff. 2. Figure out the pattern. It's usually [email protected] or something close. 3. Use that pattern for everyone else you're after. It's like a cheat code. 4. Double-check with Hunter. It's free and saves you from embarrassing bounce backs. 5. If that doesn't work, try firstnamelastname@. You'd be surprised. 6. Always check LinkedIn. Trust me, emailing the wrong John Smith sucks. We used this to get 2,500+ emails last quarter. Not gonna lie, our response rates went crazy. Quick tip: Keep notes on company email patterns. Future you will be grateful. Just don't be a jerk with these emails, okay? Nobody likes spam. What's your best trick for finding emails? Share it! We're all in this together.
