Why is this an important area for design professionals to learn more about? 9 out of 10 people know they plan to age in place but they need help to figure out how that looks in real life. We have a shortage of trained staff that can help to take care of our older adults as their needs increase. However, technology is one of the ways that we can support independent living and delay the need for higher levels of care! Now, keeping up with the newest trends in tech can feel like running after a bullet train because things change so rapidly.
