  • Effectiveness of Collaboration

    For this collection Kelly Simmons and I wrote a chapter titled "My Team, My System" which looks at a team as a human system. We discuss the different mental models that people use to understand human systems, in particular the "machine" mental model and the "living system" mental model. We then discuss the impact of these different mental models on the ways in which the team members work together.
