When working with clients who are planning for retirement, two main themes always come up. The first is what they want their lifestyle in retirement to include; (more time with family, more time for hobbies (golf, fishing, working with charities, etc.). As the discussion progresses, and they are asked what, if any concerns they may have, they most often say they do not want to run out of money, even if they have made good money while working and have substantial assets.
