About
I am passionate about making our planet better for everyone. At age 8, I founded an environmental group in my hometown, and for the past 20 years of my professional career, I've worked towards a clean, fair, and efficient energy system as a policy advisor, consultant, researcher, and volunteer.
Currently, I am the Director of European Programmes at the Regulatory Assistance Project (RAP), a clean energy non-profit organisation. I also hold various board positions supporting a number of organisations in the energy and climate space. Over the course of my career I advised governments, international organisations, businesses and non-profits.
I am also an active researcher being affiliated with the universities of Oxford and Cambridge amongst others. My work includes hundreds of influential peer-reviewed papers, reports, and opinion pieces.
As a keynote speaker, I have presented at over 200 international and national conferences, including the United Nations and the World Economic Forum. My commentary appears in major media outlets around the world like the New York Times, BBC, and the Guardian. I've testified as an expert witness to the House of Commons and European Parliament on numerous occasions.
Recognised as one of the world's top 100 people in climate, one of the top 25 influencers in renewables and one of the 10 LinkedIn Top Green Voices in the UK, I continue to drive the transition to sustainable energy.

What are the most effective ways to promote renewable energy for EV charging?
EVs bring with them tremendous opportunity for both the power sector and mobility because they form the nexus between two revolutions: decarbonising electricity and electrifying transport. Our "start with smart" approach encompasses three key strategies for integrating electric vehicles into the power system cost-efficiently: smart pricing, smart technology, and smart infrastructure. https://www.raponline.org/knowledge-center/start-with-smart-promising-practices-integrating-electric-vehicles-grid/
