Our UK family is made up of thousands of unique people, each navigating their own life events and challenges. We’re committed to shaping our world for the better, and that starts with supporting our people. From late October through to mid-November, we ran a carefully selected programme of events designed to help our people with the things that matter. The programme focused on three key elements: Being Confident with Your Money, Be Kind to Yourself and Be There for Your Loved Ones. With over 75 live virtual events across a wide range of topics and the option to book a private and confidential 1-2-1 with one of our experts, we hoped there was something for everyone. Here’s what our people said: “The wellbeing programme has been amazing with something for everyone.” “Love the bite size of the event - made me take a break on a busy day which I find hard to do.” “Absolutely brilliant sessions and cover wide range of things we don't usually talk about.”

We’re proud to share that we’ve achieved the highest level of recognition in the UK Government’s ‘Disability Confident’ scheme by becoming a Level 3 ‘Disability Confident Leader’. The Disability Confident scheme supports employers to think differently about disability and improve how we attract, recruit and retain people with disabilities. This milestone demonstrates our commitment to building a workplace where everyone can succeed, whatever their disability, health condition, or neurodiversity. Driving Change Together over the last two years, our UK wide Disability Working Group has worked hard to improve support for colleagues with disabilities and health conditions. Some of the key actions we’ve taken include: - Introducing a Workplace Adjustments Specialist in our People Hub to provide dedicated support. - Simplifying how people can request workplace adjustments through the introduction of our ‘Just Ask’ process. - Allocating a dedicated budget for assistive technology requests to empower colleagues with the tools they need. - Enhancing our recruitment process to better support disabled candidates, including offering a guaranteed interview scheme. - Conducting independent Accessibility Audits across our office locations to make our workspaces more inclusive. - Training all People Managers on disability awareness, equipping them to better support their teams. - Listening to and including everyone. While we’re proud of these achievements, we know that becoming truly inclusive is an ongoing journey. To make these changes we’ve listened to colleagues with lived experiences of disabilities, long-term health conditions and neurodivergence – and their insights have guided us in making the changes that matter most. Achieving Disability Confident Leader status is an exciting milestone, and it also highlights the ongoing work needed to become even more inclusive. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to help us reach this point.

Happy International Volunteer Day, everyone! We're extremely proud of our colleagues who have made a difference this year through a variety of volunteering efforts with our amazing charity partners, and in their own communities. We've provided career advice and workshops to young people from under-represented backgrounds, climbed a mountain to fundraise for vision-impaired ex-Servicemen and women, and rolled up our sleeves to tend to community gardens. This year alone our people have recorded thousands of volunteering hours, shaping the world for the better. 💙

Last month, we introduced our partnership with The ADHD Foundation and the Umbrella Project, which aims to help everyone learn more about neurodiversity. This saw bright umbrella installations in our offices, which colleagues could take a picture with to show their support for neurodiversity awareness, whilst also telling their story. The Neurodiversity Network also chose Neurodiversity in Business (NiB) - the Neurodiversity Charity to donate £1000 to show further support. We covered several different topics, ranging from: - ADHD awareness. - Living with autism. - Creating a better work environment. - And more! Thank you to all of our colleagues for visiting our art installation and sharing your stories about neurodiversity.

Our family is made up of thousands of unique people, each navigating their own life events and challenges. We’re committed to shaping our world for the better, and that starts with supporting our people. Over the last 4 weeks, our parent company Sopra Steria ran a carefully selected programme of events designed to help our people with the things that matter, proudly sponsored by the Sopra Steria Employee Trust. And don’t take our word for it, here’s what our people said: “The wellbeing programme has been amazing with something for everyone.” “Love the bite size of the event - made me take a break on a busy day which I find hard to do.” “I've found these sessions helpful and are only 20 minutes. It makes them easier to fit in during the day. Also I appreciate having the links to so we can run through again, or to catchup on parts we missed.”
