We’re pleased to note that Zoopla’s House Price Index has found that the housing market has returned to strong growth in 2024, supported by rising incomes and lower mortgage rates UK house prices are projected to rise by 2.5% in 2025, with a 5% increase in the volume of housing transactions. We have partnered with Close Brothers Property Finance & Hurst & Hurst Estates Ltd to secure an exciting new development opportunity within the New Forest National Park that will see 46 energy efficient homes built on a 6 acre site. Of the homes, 50% will be provided as affordable housing, providing much needed housing in an idyllic and rural location. The new homes will incorporate a range of energy efficient measures, including: air source heat pumps, EV charging points, and wastewater heat recovery. The development meets the required government target of 10% biodiversity net gain and elements of the design such as quantity of open space exceed this. Construction is already underway, with the first homes expected to be ready in Q2/3 2025.
