Four years ago, what started as a simple idea turned into something extraordinary.
The Andgo Systems team gathered for an impromptu auction, hoping to clear out a bunch of swag we’d accumulated from vendors, partners, and various events over the years. A few team members even sweetened the deal, contributing homemade baked goods and veggie baskets from their gardens. The concept was simple: bid on what you want, donate to charity, and Andgo would match your contribution. What we expected to be a fun afternoon spent raising a few bucks for charity and clearing out the storage closet turned out to be much more.
The first item up for auction? A batch of homemade cupcakes. Bidding started at $2 (we had no idea how this would go!), and within seconds, offers skyrocketed, and those cupcakes eventually sold for $50!
That first auction raised an incredible $4,000 for charity, blowing past any expectations we had going in. But beyond the money, we realized we had tapped into something special.
By the next year, we were ready to step things up. We reached out to our vendors and partners, asking if they’d be willing to donate items for the auction. The response was nothing short of phenomenal. With a treasure trove of auction items, we raised an astonishing $18,000 for charity in just one afternoon!
Fast forward to this year, and the energy has only grown. By now, everyone knew the drill, but the Andgo Systems team members generosity still amazes me! Team members, partners, and vendors all came together once again—and we raised an incredible $39,000!
This little auction has transformed into something far beyond what we ever imagined. We’ve now raised a total of $93,000 for charity! What began as a way to clear out our storage closet has turned into one of our proudest traditions—and we can’t wait to do it again next year.
Thank you to all those who help make it possible!

1moI've donated!! Best of luck to you all. New Leaf Learning is such a wonderful charity, really improving the lives of children who would otherwise would get lost in the education system.
