💸As an employer, how do you value loyalty? Quite often when I'm speaking to Clients about a salary range for a role one of the main limiting factors is the salaries paid to the existing team. Understandably, you don't want someone new coming in, getting paid more than a Loyal employee who's being doing the job for years. However, this never plays out well in the long term as those loyal employees are often paid below market value and over time will get poached by competitors willing to pay the market rates. It also restricts their ability to attract top talent to improve teams and backfill those loyal employees once they leave and can create a vicious cycle. So how do you think we should reward Loyalty? Should there be more transparency around salaries? What are the downsides to paying people a fair amount for what they bring to the table? Spooky recruitment OR when you are candidate, ....who, didn't apply for 👻 The most mysterious, spiritual, supernatural, creepy story happened to me a couple weeks ago. And it's not old but goodies ghosted by recruiters. This is a horror-shock moment which will definitely make you double check if you locked windows and doors and will trigger your senses.  On Friday midday,  last day of September month. I got a letter.  Letter from a recruiter. (You can see it below) Classical rejection from the job But I never applied for the job or attended an interview. (Boo!)  In fact, I wasn't even invited for that interview. (Boo! - Boo!) Unfortunately, silence from the hiring team has become commonplace . Recruiters do not show up and do not return back on your emails, and lets be honest it's not just happening personally to you, earlier this year I faced this cold avoidance more than twice this year.  New Jersey's Assembly Bill 4625 is an interesting practice and definitely the right step into the direction of solving. It requires employers to disclose job vacancy status in postings and set additional requirements. The main point - Requires employers to respond to applicants within a specified timeframe. But what about cases where a candidate hasn't even applied? how to fix it, according to a reliable source: 1. Restart Windows and boot into Troubleshooting mode 2. Open a command prompt 3. Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\CrowdStrike 4. Locate the file matching "C-00000291* sys", and delete it. [was: Rename the file CSAgent.sys to something else, eg. donotcrash.sys] 5. Continue normal startup I hope this helps. 𝑾𝑯𝑨𝑻 𝑰𝑭 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑺𝑨𝑴𝑬 𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑯𝑨𝑷𝑷𝑬𝑵𝑺 2𝒏𝒅 𝑻𝑰𝑴𝑬 🥺🙁 25 JANUARY 2023 : On Jan 25 outage suffered by many Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online.Lots of hot air & annoyed words found their way across the internet to confirm everyone’s suspicions that on-premises deployments are infinitely superior to any cloud service.This could be true in some cases, but it’s not for most, even when an outage happens. Let me explain a big fact about cloud services: outages happen all the time like faults that afflict on-premises infrastructures, the causes of outages come from many sources. MS 365 is a highly automated operation. Even so, sometimes the human element creates a problem, just like it can within an on-premises data center. According to Microsoft’s post-incident report (PIR), incident MO502273 began at 7:05 AM UTC & Finished at 12:43 PM UTC on Wednesday, 25 Jan.The formal length of the incident is five hours & 38 minutes, which is a long time waiting for engineers to resolve a problem. However not every user within affected tenants experienced this length of the outage.The PIR is available to affected customers as A Downloadable Word document through the Service Health Dashboard in the MS 365 admin center. Thirty minutes later (8:20 AM), the engineers identified the real source of the problem and noted that ten minutes earlier automated recovery began to restore the network. By 9 AM most network devices were stabilized & online, but the WAN didn’t recover fully until 9:35 AM. At this point, MS 365 services began their recovery to restore online services to end users.By 11:30 AM Microsoft’s telemetry indicated that most customers had service & incident formally closed at 12:43 PM. At this point, some customers had issues with OWA connectivity. This later evolved into a separate incident (EX502694) that took further time to resolve, eventually closing at 3:50 AM on Jan 26. Again On 19, JULY 2024 : Windows Users across the World are facing severe outage as they get the Blue Screen of Death or BSOD error, which causes System to suddenly shut down or restart. The company reportedly said the error is being caused due to a recent CrowdStrike update. The outage impacts global airlines, who face troubles in operations & are forced to cancel flights as well as other critical systems, such as hospitals & Financial Institutions, including LSE Microsoft said, "a subset of customers may experience issues with multiple Azure services in the Central US region including failures with service management operations & connectivity or availability of services." 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙙𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙊𝙪𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙚? STEPS TO RESOLVE : Boot Windows into Safe Mode or the Windows Recovery Environment. Navigate to the %WINDIR%\System32\drivers\CrowdStrike directory.
