About us

The SBAA provides the Support, Advice, Opportunity and Advocacy Micro, Small and Medium Sized Business need to thrive in today’s economy. As well as being the voice of MSME’s, advocating for their rights and getting the important issues in front of Federal and State Governments, Regulators and Authorities, the SBAA also provides Members with access to a range of quality programs, services, technology and education ensuring they have the best chance to succeed. The 2.2 Million Micro and Small Business actively trading today make up around 97% of all businesses in Australia**. This means the health of our economy is directly dependent upon the health of our MSME’s. So, not only do the MSME’s of Australia need access to the one on one help required to underpin their establishment and growth but also a Powerful, united voice in Government to represent their interests, the SBAA is that voice. The SBAA works with, and advises, Government and the relevant departments and authorities, to further our mission in creating a fertile, nurturing business environment that encourages entrepreneurs to grow their businesses and prosper as a result.
