Activity 6
Find adequate time to view actual table tennis and badminton matches online. Then make a
reflection or reaction to what you will see. Your reflection should revolve around the way the
games are played, how they could help promote good health, what kind of skills and discipline
the player shows. If you play any of the two games, you can make a reflection based on your
actual experience.

REFLECTION

As I watched the videos, I can relate myself to the player because I have
experience playing sports in a competition and I can see how the game went very well.
The players have shown a professional manner of playing. I can tell that they are very
well disciplined, they are also physically fit and competitive which is very important in
the game, it was also seen there that the players really acquire self-confidence and
self-esteem. In the game, as we see how the players move with improved energy levels,
it’s not just the endurance and strength but also the brainpower of the players that
were tested. Playing sports needs technique too. Both teams are eager to win the game
for their career and compassion, and with that, we can see the competitiveness of both
teams. However, In a competition, there will always be the one who takes the victory
and the one to be defeated. The players have shown a professional manner in their
field of sports and they have also shown the management of emotions and the
acceptance of defeat which is one of the very important characteristics to achieve as a
player. No matter how many times a player wins or loses the game, the discipline,
focus and determination is important to be acquired by a real dedicated sports player.
