As we reflect on this season of gratitude, we’re reminded of a story about a young boy who would gather shells by the ocean every morning. He didn’t pick the prettiest or rarest shells—he collected every shell he found, grateful for each one. When asked why, he replied, “Every shell has its story, and every story deserves to be cherished.” This resonates deeply with us as leaders and as an organization. Gratitude isn’t about waiting for the perfect moment or the grandest gesture—it’s about appreciating the journey, the small wins, and every person who contributes along the way. Today, we’re incredibly thankful for YOU—our clients, team members, partners, and supporters. Your trust, collaboration, and belief in our mission make it possible for us to help leaders grow and create healthier organizations. Let’s embrace this day with an attitude of gratitude, celebrating every challenge conquered, every lesson learned, and every connection that makes us better together. What are you thankful for this year? Drop it in the comments—we’d love to celebrate with you! 💛🍂 #HappyThanksgiving #Gratitude #HealthyLeadership #ThankYou #ChiefDevelopmentAndLeadershipStrategie

As we approach the holiday season, I find myself reflecting on the power of humility and gratitude. In a world that often celebrates achievements, titles, and milestones, it’s easy to get caught up in what we’ve done or where we’re going. But this time of year is a gentle reminder to pause, look around, and acknowledge the people and moments that have shaped our journey. Humility isn’t about minimizing our successes; it’s about recognizing the contributions of others, embracing life’s lessons, and understanding that we’re all part of something bigger. Whether it’s the kindness of a mentor, the trust of a colleague, or the support of loved ones, none of us achieve anything alone. As we step into this season of giving and connection, let’s lead with empathy, offer a helping hand, and remember to truly see the people around us. Sometimes, the greatest gift we can give is simply to listen, to learn, and to be present. Wishing you all a season filled with meaningful connections and quiet moments of reflection. Let’s end the year by lifting others and celebrating what truly matters. #Gratitude #Humility #HolidaySeason #Leadership

7 Days of Gratitude, Day #5: Connections and Community 💟 This year, I’ve been especially grateful for the power of connections and the strength of community—the people who show up, lend a hand, offer perspective, and make every step of the journey a little lighter. Connections take many forms. It’s the colleagues who collaborate with me through challenges, the friends who send that perfectly timed text, and the family who remind me of what truly matters. These moments of support have been my foundation as I navigated the ups and downs of 2024. This year has taught me that community isn’t just about the people you lean on—it’s also about the people you uplift. I’ve seen how taking the time to connect, whether through a kind word, a shared laugh, or simply being present, can create ripples far beyond the moment. Who has made an impact on your life this year? Whether it’s a friend, a family member, or a professional connection, I’d love to hear about the connections and communities you are most grateful for. Share your stories in the comments 👇 (And for those who have been wondering - yes, I have taken all the pictures in this Gratitude Series!) #GratitudeAttitude #ConnectionsAndCommunity #Leadership #SupportSystems

As the year winds down, November invites us to pause, reflect, and embrace gratitude—a transformative practice that helps us recognize the good, even in challenging times. For me, gratitude is found in small moments—quiet mornings, encouraging words, and lessons from setbacks. Above all, it’s about the people who show up—partners, colleagues, and friends whose support shapes every step forward. Reflection reminds me that success is never solo—it stems from shared values and collective effort. It invites us to look inward and ask: What went well this year? Where did I fall short? How can I grow moving forward? As I consider these questions, I’m deeply grateful for everyone who has been part of this journey. Your belief in what we’re building together inspires me every day. As we reflect together, let’s celebrate what we’ve achieved and carry that energy into the new year. What’s one thing you’re grateful for or proud of this season? Share it below—I’d love to hear your thoughts! #Grateful #Reflection #Gratitude #Improving #Goals #PersonalGoals #Leadership

Gratitude: A Daily Practice with Extraordinary Impact 🧡🦃🍁 On this Thanksgiving Eve, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone in our network—clients, partners, colleagues, and friends. Your trust, collaboration, and support have made this year one of growth and progress, and we are truly thankful for each of you. 🙏 At Ironworks, we believe gratitude is more than just a seasonal sentiment—it’s a daily practice that shapes how we approach both challenges and opportunities. For Heidi Hoium, this practice takes the form of writing down three things she’s grateful for every morning while planning her day. ✍️🌞 This simple ritual helps shift focus to what’s already working and wonderful, creating a mindset that approaches obstacles with clarity and positivity. Does it always work perfectly? No. But doing it consistently fosters resilience and a grounded perspective over time. 💡💪 Today, as we reflect on the many things we’re grateful for, we invite you to join us in this practice. How are you cultivating gratitude in your life and work? Gratitude is a powerful force—not just for the holiday season, but for every day. It can transform your mindset, your leadership, and your relationships! Let’s finish this year strong, leading with gratitude in everything we do. Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Ironworks! 🦃🍁

Gratitude changes everything! Have you noticed that what you think about seems to multiply? Focus on problems and what do you get? More problems. Focus on complaints and what do you hear? More complaints. Focus on things that you are grateful for and what do you get? More things to be grateful for! The problems and complaints become less important when you focus on the successes and compliments instead. How do you do that? Start by noticing all the little things around you that make your life better. Grab a notebook and write down 5 things right now that you are grateful for. Everything from your cup of hot coffee, to your amazing team, to your family sharing about their day, to your dog waiting for you to take him on his walk all count. Start writing your list now! You can also express your gratitude to someone. Pop into their office to say thank you and share what it was they did that you appreciated. Or send a handwritten thank you note sharing your gratitude. What an awesome way to let someone know you noticed and appreciated what they did for you! Gratitude is a two-way street. Both of you, giver and receiver, will feel the positive effects and, as a result, the trajectory of your day will change. Leaders know that sincere gratitude expands their leadership. The good news is that you can start right now.

True Appreciation Goes Beyond Gratitude In both our personal and professional lives, we often show gratitude—but do we truly appreciate the efforts of those around us? Whether it’s the coworker keeping projects on track or the family member handling daily chores, true appreciation means understanding the hard work that goes into making things seem effortless. In my latest blog, "True Appreciation: Walking in Their Shoes," I dive into the difference between gratitude and true appreciation, and why it’s essential to step into others' shoes to fully recognize their contributions. Check out the blog here: https://lnkd.in/eeWUySF4 Let’s create environments—at home and at work—where people feel valued, understood, and supported. 🌱 #Leadership #Teamwork #Appreciation #Empathy #Culture #PersonalGrowth

Leadership often comes down to two simple words: "Thank you." 🗣 Thank you for your ideas. 🗣 Thank you for your effort. 🗣 Thank you for showing up. Gratitude isn’t just an act; it’s a mindset. It’s about seeing and appreciating the contributions of others, big and small, and making sure they know they’re valued. This photo reminds me how much gratitude is at the heart of leadership—literally and figuratively. 💛 As we enter Thanksgiving week, let’s make those words a habit, not a holiday. Gratitude is contagious—how will you express yours this week? 🦃✨ #GratitudeAttitude #ThanksgivingWeek #GratefulHeart #LeadershipMatters #MondayMotivation #ImpactLeadership
