The Power of Targets and Effective Sales Strategies On this Thursday Thoughts, let’s talk about the driving force behind successful sales teams: Clear Targets and Effective Strategies. Sales is more than just pitching products or services; it’s about understanding your audience, offering value, and delivering solutions. However, no matter how skilled your team is, without clear targets, efforts can become scattered. 🎯 Why Setting Targets Matters: Focus: Targets channel your team’s energy toward a common goal. Accountability: Everyone knows what they’re working towards. Motivation: There’s nothing more satisfying than hitting (and exceeding) a target. 💡 Tips for Effective Sales Strategies: 1. Know Your Customer: Invest time in understanding their pain points. 2. Build Relationships: People buy from those they trust. 3. Analyze and Adjust: Measure what works and adapt. 4. Celebrate Wins: Small victories keep the team inspired. Remember, when sales teams work with a clear roadmap and defined goals, the results are transformative—not just for the business, but for the individuals driving it. How does your team set targets and implement strategies? Let’s share ideas! #SalesStrategies #GoalSetting #Teamwork #SalesSuccess

For the sales professionals out there that feel like they've hit a wall or aren't hitting their numbers: 1 - Focus on the Leading Indicators - Staring at your final number at the end of every week, month, or quarter isn't going to help you grow your book. Instead of hoping, double down on the key activities that lead to sales (and if you don't know what those activities are, start tracking everything you do and find them). Sales is a numbers game (in most cases) which means if you know calls lead to meetings...make more calls. If meetings lead to quotes being sent...book more meetings. Your activities will compound and eventually get you out of your rut. 2 - Try New Sh*t - Just because it worked last year doesn't mean it's going to work this year. The world keeps spinning and your target market will keep evolving. This means you need to adapt, too. Start by doing a debrief every Friday. See what talk tracks killed vs. which ones fell flat. Watch recordings of your own demos and focus on your prospect's reaction to different value props and discovery questions. There's no way you won't level up after a few months of doing this practice. Stay strong out there and keep a positive mindset. #sales #leadership #adaptability

Riddle me this... Why do so many sales leaders (and that includes Founders who are leading sales) default to the following behaviours with their product demos? “I haven’t even met you yet, you want a demo?” “Hello – nice to meet you, here is a demo.” “You asked for a demo, here are ALL the features we’ve built.” “Let me fill the whole time we have set aside for OUR meeting to demo MY product.” “Enough about me talking about my great product, let me know what you think about it.” Stop it! Selling is not telling. This is like meeting in a social setting and talking only about your children for an hour. How many social events would that get you invited back to? How many friends would you have? The role of sales is to help the buyer make a buying decision. If you honestly believe that your product is the right solution, then you are obliged to help them buy your product. How can you do either of these if you don’t know what the buyer wants or needs? Start doing this! Selling is asking great questions. Selling is listening. Selling is knowledge. Selling is problem solving. Founders/Sales Leaders must ruthlessly drive your team from telling to listening. You will have more reps making more commission than you ever thought possible. And your business will have more revenue with fewer demos. I can prove it to you. #founders #salesleaders #salesframework #pamice

Many CRMs focus on sales reps' daily needs, but what about the unique demands of Sales VPs? As a VP, wouldn't you rather have real-time insights than just forecasts? Picture yourself always updated on critical deals and team activities, making timely, impactful decisions, engaging with customers, and delivering proposals exactly when they’re needed. Find a CRM that truly supports your leadership.

The Demo is one of the first things a Founder does when the MVP is ready and continues from there. The natural flow for doing The Demo for most Founders is to show off my new baby. That is, show all the features you are proud to have developed. It's called a Show Up & Throw Up and it's not going to win much business. You will educate a lot of people on what's in your product but it will not drive them to BUY your product. This is one of the areas we focus on as Fractional Sales Leaders. We can prove the success of changing your demo spots. #founders #salesframework #pamice https://lnkd.in/ew3_t2Nd
