England may not have brought home the Euros cup this time, but we should still be proud of our football players, manager, support staff, and all they have achieved. Reaching the finals is no mean feat. This success is a testament to the investment and support behind the team, which is crucial for any team, business, or individual to thrive.
At the Danos Group, our core values reflect this belief. We stand by "Supported to Succeed"—investing in and supporting our people to enable them to achieve their full potential. We "Embrace & Drive Change" by fostering openness, exploring new ideas, and leading change. And we uphold "Integrity & Accountability" by being honest, transparent, respectful, and taking responsibility for our performance. The England football team embodies these values through their investment, support, openness to new ideas, and acceptance of responsibility, making them a stronger and more impactful team.
Globally, grassroots football is where all footballers start. While only the very best go on to represent their countries, football offers most children a community to develop not only their skills but also communication, team building, and resilience. Since 2022, the Danos Group has supported the Doverhouse Lions Community Football Club in one of the UK’s most deprived housing estates. Each week, this club supports over 300 children and young adults, providing a safe place for football, meaningful education pathways, and a broad range of initiatives focusing on employment, social deprivation, crime reduction, youth offending, health, inclusion, environmental awareness, and positive future opportunities. Every young person matters, and we are committed to awakening that realisation.
This year, the Danos Group London team is embarking on a charity challenge. We are preparing for the London Duathlon in September, with all proceeds going to the Doverhouse Lions Community Football Club. If you can, please donate by visiting https://gofund.me/da4ad6b8.
Join us in championing this remarkable team and their journey toward excellence! Your support can make a profound difference in the lives of these children and their community.

This is my son Ben, Ben sadly lost his life in july 2022 whilst on holiday with his family
This left all who new him devastated and empty.
As a family we decided to raise money for the local rugby Leigh East the team Ben played for to allow all 14 years old's thru to and including open age to get heart screening which helped detect some abnormalities and saved other families go thru the same devastating loss as ourselves.
Bens uncle and his friends are this year doing a grueling challenge to help raise money to do the same for Bens cousins team and other at the Golborne Parkside arlfc club.
If any of my contacts would like to donate it would be really appreciated ,we are trying our best to detect heart abnormalities for the people who love playing the sport of rugby
In just over four weeks I am cycling 633km across Italy, raising money for Dallaglio RugbyWorks.
DRW's missions is to ensure that young people who have been excluded from school are not excluded from society. On average, 160 young people are excluded from school each week. Once excluded, prospects for these young people are bleak, with only 4% achieving good GCSE grades, and 67% entering sustained education, employment or training compared to 96% of their non-excluded peers. This can be a pipeline to prison, with concerning statistics showing 63% of prisoners having been excluded from school.
DRW work in a number of different settings both during term time and after school, where coaches lead small groups of 8-10 young people, using sport as a hook and mentorship as an anchor to develop their soft skills, as well as improve their physical & mental wellbeing. This, coupled with exposure to the work place through Career Taster Days, raises their aspirations and puts young people in a better position to enter sustained education, employment or training (EET) when they leave school.
I would appreciate any support possible.

A brilliant morning’s visit to Northampton Saints Foundation to meet Jordan Letts founder and visionary behind this fantastic charity and his team. The Foundation gets young people back on track with a number of programmes such as #Hitz and #Engage supporting those in primary and secondary school who find themselves at risk of permanent exclusion. Did you know 22,000 children aged 6 and under were excluded or suspended in our schools across England in 2022? This shocking figure is tackled head on by Northampton Saints Foundation by improving self esteem, confidence, motivation and learning reflecting the core values of rugby in teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline and sportsmanship throughout the programmes offered to young people. The outreach has been remarkable and continues to grow with 6 hubs open across our region. This is certainly a charity making a huge impact on children’s lives. 🙏🙏

CASE STUDY: SPORTS CLUBS RETAINER SUPPOR T🏉
We started working with a small rugby club in Oxfordshire where we were tasked with helping them recruit new members, improve their facilities, and provide an outreach service into their local community to be able to teach rugby in schools.
🏉Working with them to identify their strengths on the committee and understand their current reach, we helped restructure the board to make it more efficient and set the tasks they can excel in. This enabled a stronger base of support within the club, allowing for long term success.
🤝Next we worked with identifying local funders and sponsors and created a strong case of support to showcase why this club needs to grow in the community. We worked with local schools and businesses and developed a coaching outreach programme to work as a double-benefit approach - strengthening the teachings of rugby in the community, whilst promoting the club in a good light and thus getting new members.
The club at the end of the 12 months had recruited an entirely new youth section, strengthened their adult section, doubled their annual membership subscription, and had secured funding in excess of £15,000 for equipment and coaching. 💸
This service for the club provided them with around a 10 x Return on Investment, and had set them up sustainably to run it themselves going forward.

CIO / NED / Mentor / Chairperson for UK IT Leaders / Proud Yorkshireman
Exciting news…
UK IT Leaders are privileged to announce Kevin Sinfield CBE as one of the key note speakers at our Community Day on September 25th in Birmingham.
Kevin is a Leeds Rhinos rugby league great, turned England rugby union coach turned charity fundraiser. He will be speaking about what he has achieved on and off the field. His inspiring leadership and relentless focus on fundraising for MND shows how we should all strive to care more for each other.
Kevin is a rugby icon. But in recent years has shown heroism of a very different kind through his selfless and extraordinary fundraising for motor neurone disease (MND), the terminal illness that has affected his best mate and former teammate Rob Burrow.
You are likely to leave the event, thinking differently about who would you go the extra mile for to help in life.
We can’t wait for this and are so pleased for all our community, guests and sponsors that they will be able to be part of this.
One of our colleagues at Compass Group UK, Maria Marta Lardo, is taking part in a 1,000 mile relay this April and May in partnership with Levy UK to raise money for ParalympicsGB.
With only a few months to go until the start of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, the funds raised will contribute to helping ParalympicsGB athletes reach their full potential on the world stage, inspiring the nation and challenging perceptions of disability throughout the UK in the process.
TWO Services has donated to help Maria and the team reach their target. If you’d like to do the same, please click the link below.
