My top tips for being your own boss from over a decade of self employment for Boss’s Day! 1. RADICAL RESPONSIBILITY There is a reason WHY I do what I do. And the reason is I’ve learned that all my blocks and all my struggles come from ME. Once I started taking responsibility for being the creator of everything in my life - the good, the bad, the in my control, the out of my control ALL OF IT things started to change 2. BE UNCOMFORTABLE It can’t be said enough. Growth happens in your discomfort zone. And your growth edges don’t always have to be work related. Existing at your edges in all walks of life creates cash creation and new opportunities as the personal work spans all. Now if you avoid work related discomforts you will suffer but that’s because you’re in avoidance 😉 3. BEGINNERS MIND Stop pretending that you know how to do everything and anything. Even if you’re good at a lot of stuff. Moving forward with a beginner’s mind allows you to benefit more from what you’re learning. You will be more open, curious, and more gentle with yourself (less pressure, expectation, etc.) 4. LOVE BEING REJECTED If you’re not being rejected you’re not working hard enough. Get used to it. Fall in love with it. Let it turn you on. Know that being rejected means that you’re practicing at your edges (yay #2) and also trust that it means you’re being guided elsewhere (someplace better) and there is more to learn on your path before you’re ready. Head up. Don’t collapse. Get stronger. 5. LOVE YOURSELF You can’t hate and shame yourself to the top of success in your business. I know it has served you in the past but where you’re trying to go it will eventually hurt your progress. Develop a foundation of love and from here all good things flow. This is hardest for most of you. Time to get on it 😉 I have a million more tips but there are character limits 😅 Thanks for @rocvoxrecording for inspiring this post from his post! LFG 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Stacey Steinmiller I love your top tips. Particularly number 2. We have to get comfortable being uncomfortable if we are going to continue to achieve.

These are great, Stacey Steinmiller! I love #3. Staying curious, being open to learning... and getting help, not doing it alone. This is one of my important lessons this year.
