Soon you'll be able to tune into Arts Dynamics Talks again with more guest expert interviews and talks about all things music, art/s and culture + tech and entrepreneurship for impact to help artists and creators future proof what they do. In the meantime, let´s do a throwback series to highlight the amazing people who've so generously shared their expertise with us all so far in 2024. First one out is one heck of a powerhouse woman, Grace Maharaj from Arvet Agency 🔥 The theme for the talk was Framing stories and narratives from a brand and IP perspective At the time of preparing for this session, Swedish companies and 120 government agencies were under a cyber attack by Russian ransomware Akira. One of these companies was Filmstaden who operate a centralised ticketing system that services point of sales at box office for majority cinema operators throughout the country. We had a conversation on how to connect this back to the context on distribution, audience engagement, filmmaking and film financing because these are related. We also took a closer look at what actually happened when "Carnifax", an independent Aussie horror movie, premiered on the 26th January in Sweden, in the middle of the hacking scandal and what the learnings had been so far. Tune into a much needed in-depth conversation about the importance of IP and how to create your own eco-system as a creator in the film industry. https://lnkd.in/dEFkX-ZZ Who do YOU want to listen to for our upcoming talks? Do you have an interview that would help inspire an older musician who is almost a zero-minus tech user? But literally dying to get his music into the world, beyond the small stages he performs on. It’s my brother. He has a friend who will help him record, but is stuck not going forward because of fear and lack of knowledge about interfacing with the new world and having to become at least a beginner with tech. And his friend has health problems so isn’t able to help with promotion.

Sounds like some incredible insights in that session with Grace Maharaj! It’s so important for creators to understand the power of IP and storytelling, especially with the real-world challenges like cyber attacks. I’m excited for the upcoming talks! As for guests, maybe some tech innovators who are blending creativity with cutting-edge tools could make for a cool conversation. Looking forward to what’s next and can’t wait to see what 2025 brings for Arts Dynamics Talks!

This sounds like an incredible series, and I’m so excited to hear more from the guest experts! Grace Maharaj’s talk on brand and IP perspectives was truly insightful, especially considering the unique challenges posed by the cyber attack at the time. It’s amazing how these discussions connect the dots between film distribution, audience engagement, and the broader implications for creators. Looking forward to tuning in to the throwback series and gaining more knowledge on how to navigate and future-proof the creative industries. Keep up the great work Sofie Marin ➤ CHPC™!

Great to listen to stories that help us see we are not alone in challenges and successes. I think creatives would be keen to hear how others are using AI to power on and not be replaced. There’s a lot of fear from creatives that their value is being undermined. Would be good to hear the positive sides.

"first, let's wrap up 2024" reminds me of leading sales teams where we planned to have hit our sales targets (aka "wrapped") by the end of October - or be over 95% because we knew we'd hit. That gave us time to lay the groundwork for a successful following year.

Love the 'wrap up 2024' - a ritual that is not quite a habit yet! But I think it should become a habit and a tradition.

I think we're just beginning to scratch the surface on the impact of AI and clearly hacking is not going away. You are a powerful resource for creative!

This is a scary part of the world we live in. There’s enough brilliance on the good side to navigate and protect those of us who want to share and make positive impact. 😊
