Whenever I discuss wine promotion with my colleagues in marketing, I emphasize one crucial point: to promote wine effectively, you need to learn more about it. Wine is not a casual product. It carries a story, a heritage, and an experience - and to truly communicate its value, we must go beyond the technical details. Yes, knowing what’s inside the bottle is vital. But it’s equally important to understand how it resonates with people. Why does it make them smile? What emotions or memories does it evoke? At the end of the day, we are selling more than just wine. We’re offering emotions, experiences, and moments of connection. Technical sheets? They’re for us, the professionals. For the consumer, it’s all about how the wine feels.
