True diversity is more than a buzzword—it's about creating workplaces where every voice matters. From women breaking glass ceilings and neurodivergent professionals thriving with their unique strengths to BAME and other minority leaders driving change and LGBTQ+ individuals contributing their authentic selves. It’s time we broaden our vision of #DEI and go beyond age, gender, race, disability, faith, and health challenges to build environments where everyone is empowered to grow, innovate, and lead. Let’s commit to understanding and addressing unconscious biases, fostering inclusion, and recognizing the value each person brings to the table. Because a truly inclusive workforce is not just a moral imperative—it’s a business superpower. 💼✨ Join me in exploring how we can build workplaces where real diversity drives real impact. 💪🏽🤝 #InclusiveWorkforce #DiversityMatters #EquityForAll #BreakTheBias #LeadershipForChang Check out my blog post https://wix.to/67AFqC8 #newblogpost

Diverse corporate boards are not just a reflection of our society—they are key to fostering innovation, driving inclusive decision-making, and ensuring equity at the highest levels. When leadership reflects diverse voices, perspectives, and experiences, companies become better equipped to understand and serve their communities. Diversity in the boardroom means more equitable opportunities, stronger representation, and greater accountability. Let’s push for greater inclusion at the corporate level, ensuring that everyone has a seat at the table and a voice in shaping the future. The HACR - Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility is leading a powerful coalition of allied organizations representing historically underrepresented groups, including Asian Americans, Indigenous Peoples, people with disabilities, women, and Black and Hispanic communities. Launched in Washington, HACR President and CEO Cid Wilson began a 240+ mile trek from Capitol Hill to Wall Street in New York City’s financial district. Our commitment to change is unwavering. This is why we continue to work alongside our incredible partners such as Latino Corporate Directors Association, The Executive Leadership Council (ELC), LEAP (Leadership Education For Asian Pacifics), and the Association of LGBTQ+ Corporate Directors to champion #DEI at every level of corporate leadership. Visit WalktoWallStreet.org to learn how you can get involved. Let’s stand up for diversity, equity, and inclusion. It’s National Inclusion Week, and this year’s theme is "Impact Matters" - a powerful reminder for us to understand, identify, and measure our impact on historically marginalised groups, and to take meaningful actions for change. This theme resonates with us deeply. We believe that everyone deserves to be led well within a healthy, inclusive culture. Our team has shared their thoughts on how we can all play a part in making inclusion a reality 👇 Click here to read our reflections in full: https://lnkd.in/eVmyrRFz #ImpactMatters #NationalInclusionWeek #NIW2024 #Inclusion #Diversity

National Inclusion Week 2024 Did you know that women make up 51% of the UK population, but only 36.2% of senior management roles in the UK are held by women? And 35% of LGBTQ+ employees have faced discrimination or harassment at work?* This highlights the need for stronger inclusion policies in many workplaces. At Change Please we are committed to inclusion, and we will continue to implement inclusion throughout our business. A few ways we are doing this is by setting diversity and inclusion as a core value within the organisation, integrating it into the company’s mission, goals, and strategies. Along with developing and enforcing inclusive policies and Providing Diversity and Inclusion Training to all team members. We believe it is vital to promote a culture where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to contribute. Ensuring we create safe spaces where employees and trainees can voice their concerns, ideas, and feedback. *source: Office for National Statistics (ONS) #NationalInclusionWeek #ChangePleaseCoffee #ChangePleaseFoundation

If you don't like what I'm about to say, please unfollow me or just stick pins in a doll with a ginger beard. This survey is the antidote to the ludicrous backlash against ESG and 'woke capitalism'. Firstly, LGBTQ+ inclusion is the right thing to do: we shouldn't have to even think about it. But, if you need convincing further and require everything to be about the bottom line, the survey makes it crystal clear - LGBTQ+ inclusion is also good for profitability, reputation and visibility. Great work by Open For Business and CEO Dominic Arnell to patiently state the obvious in such a compelling way. Massive kudos to sponsor Deutsche Bank and its Head of Corporate Bank and Investment Bank Fabrizio Campelli. Great comments from Fabrizio and from EY's Global VC Sustainability Amy Brachio. And more kudos to the 35 big companies partnering with them and adding serious heft. If they are all wrong about LGBTQ+ inclusion, then I quit.
